SaysWho?
‘Oppenheimer’ wins seven prizes, including best picture, at the British Academy Film Awards WWW.NBCNEWS.COM The film had a field-leading 13 nominations, but missed out on the record of nine trophies, set in 1971 by “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.” Quote Christopher Nolan won his first best director BAFTA for “Oppenheimer,” and Cillian Murphy won the best actor prize for playing physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb. Murphy said he was grateful to play such a “colossally knotty, complex character.” Quote “Oppenheimer” had a field-leading 13 nominations, but missed out on the record of nine trophies, set in 1971 by “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.”
Commissar SFLUFAN
The film is definitely the undisputed front-runner heading into the Oscars.
TwinIon
Huge momentum behind this film going into the Oscars. I just re-watched this weekend. Still love the film and think this praise is well deserved.

ShreddieMercury
This was a rare case where a movie completely exceeded my expectations. Nolan is very, very hit-or-miss for me, but I found Oppenheimer pretty mind-blowing. Along with Dunkirk, I think it's the best use of Nolan's cross-cutting visual storytelling and his obsession with time.
silentbob
Still gotta see and the movie is now included with Prime. I‘d still rather try and wait it out and buy the 4k disc. I think you now gotta pay for HDR/Atmos with Prime when you get the commercials off. Well this has been reported on some sites and Nolan doesn’t do Atmos anyways. Although I agree that it seems pretty locked in on the top prize, directing, and lead/supporting actor categories
