Jason Posted June 11 Share Posted June 11 My main objection to the possibility of having to serve is that they assign by a straight line radius and not realistic travel time, so I could go from having a nice walking commute to work to being in the car for over an hour each day. That and you have to be there by 8, which is way earlier than I normally get in. Thankfully I figured out an excuse that I think should work to get me reassigned to the courthouse nearest to me the next time I get a summons.
