EternallDarkness Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 So I noticed wrestlemania was on this weekend and I haven't watched wrestling in what feels like forever...checked the card and OMFG Roman vs Lesnar?!?! are they seriously still pushing Roman??? SERIOUSLY!?!?! Quote
Mercury33 Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Yes becasue he’s arguably the most over guy in the company. And has been for several years. Quote
69los Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Roman's heel work has been pretty stellar and Brock as a face without Heyman was a nice break from the usual. Unfortunately, these 2 seem to be incapable of delivering in their match because, once again, last night was suplex city/finisher spam and kick-outs. Outside of that and Charlotte/Ronda, it was a pretty entertaining weekend. The best matches were Becky/Bianca, Seth/"worst kept secret ever", and AJ/Edge. The night 1 main event was more than everything you could have expected out of Stone Cold. The Knoxville/Sami match was classic in its absurdity. Quote

That may be, but a huge part of why I stopped watching was I was tired of seeing the same matches over and over. How many freaking times can you watch those to idiots slug it out. Their matches are BORING as hell. It's always the same, Those two combined have a total of like 4 and half moves Quote

SoberChef Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 I had zero investment in this years Mania outside of the whole "Will he/won't he show?!?" w/ regards to Cody Rhodes. I have to admit, I welled up, got emotional AF, and I'm truly happy to see him back in the E. That alone had me wanting to tune into Raw tonight & I enjoy where he intends to go with this story line for sure. As for Steve Austin, he did exactly what he's always done & KO sold his ass off & it was a special moment also. The Edge/AJ match was the banger of night two, no doubt about it. Wonder how Roman's shoulder is doing after Brock separated it from the rest of his body haha Quote
