@JPDunks4 what build are you running on your Druid? I rolled a druid too and running a storm build. Im only level 19 right now. I can melt mobs and get through most dungeons pretty easily…but the final bosses in the dungeons are destroying me. Ive had to just leave a few of them bc Im getting worked over. Im finding that resource generation is really lacking in this game. Im 6hrs in and I havent seen a single piece of gear with a resource regen affix on it. Or even life on kill/hit. and there doesnt appear to be much of that in the skill tree either. my issue with the druid is you need to get in for melee to generate spirit and then blow through it so fast that you have to melee again. getting close to these bosses is not easy. so ive focused on movement speed and adding an extra evade. so I can kite around a bit get a few shots in to generate spirit then do it again. its making for very slow fights.

Outriders made at least blue drops useful way into endgame. and they had a cool system of being able to level up blues through crafting that made them very viable for a while. their legendary drops were rare but not frustratingly unobtainable. the issue was they weren’t really “legendary”. there were exceptions, but they were mostly just stronger versions of yellows with an extra perk slot.

I am an absolute sucker for a good loot game…but I agree with you and @Xbob42. I would rather have less legendary/set loot pieces so that when they do drop, you know you truly had something special. Something so unique that it could literally be build-defining. D3 made legendary/set pieces so fucking rare that I think it was like 60+ hrs before I saw my first one…and it turned out to be useless. But the rarity of the drops kept me playing. as a side note - I was disappointed when they got rid of the auction house. it was a game all in and of itself. The Divison was complete and total loot overkill. On one run you could literally walk away with 10-20+ set/unique pieces. So the entirety of the game was just min/maxing. it sucked and burned me out quick. Diablo 2 had a really great formula that nailed the loot game bc even blue drops could wind up being insanely powerful. so you always had a chance to get something truly amazing. I havent really followed D4 that much, didnt try the betas…so Im going in blind. But I really hope it nails the loot game.

just finished it… and on May the 4th! 25hrs on the game clock. I did play all the way through on Jedi Master difficulty. I didnt find this game challenging at all other than a few sections towards the final 1/3 of the game where its waves of enemies. However, some of the boss fight’s definitely game me a good challenge. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the game. The gameplay and story were excellent, but some of the decisions on sidequests and overall lack of planets (and just jumping back and forth between them) left something to be desired. I did very little sidequests bc as others have said when I went to do 1 or 2 at the beginning, I got deep down and then hit a roadblock that required a certain skill. very annoying. these quests shouldnt unlock until youve acquired the right skill. Also, this game falls into the same issue I have with a lot of sidequests in games. Here you are on an urgent mission to discover a planet, but first…..go check out this traveling band of musicians that are up on a plateau. LOL. I mean, cmon. instead of giving me 20 nonsensical sidequests, give me 5-8 lengthly ones that are significant to the story. In my opinion, skip all the side stuff and go through the main story and you can always go back and do more if you feel like. as for the story and ending:

no. as far I can tell there are no enemies. and I dont think its an echo, its one of those ones that either gives you xp or health/force upgrade. you have to lift the pillars and jump on to them. but the timing has to be perfect and with how wonky it is with looking at the correct pillar, it’s infuriating. there is no lock on. getting the closest one to even give you the prompt is like a damn puzzle in itself. and aside from all that, its so easy to accidentally swing the saber instead of triggering the skill. not that this is a difficulty setting, but im playing on jedi master and this has been the hardest part. lol. I had to give up.

killed the guardian ape in sekiro. i read elsewhere there are multiple endings and im basically ready for one of them. or i can continue on and theres about 25% more game left. at this point im considering just doing the shorter ending. this game was great and I got gud…but I feel like ive seen all there is to offer. theres so many other games i want to dive into. currently playing Jedi: Survior. BOTW2 is coming in 2 weeks. still need to wrap up hogwarts and GOW2. can anyone who played all the way through sekiro convince im wrong and I should continue on?
