  1. The Woman did one of those doggie DNA kit things and she's primarily boxer, lab, and pit. That underbite is her boxer peeking through. :P The tag is what happens when The Woman tells me to go get her a tag and I'm left without adult supervision. The reverse side says, "Free beer upon return" and my cell phone number.
  2. Beagles are naturally of the alignment, "Chaotic Hungry".
  3. Oof. Beagles. Used to have a beagle. They can be...challenging. :P
  4. This is Zelda. She likes to play tug and make derpy faces.

  6. WELCOME to the 2022-23 edition of the Mock Gambling Thread! Another off-season is in the books and we're here for another year of the MGT! Will Keyser_Soze repeat? Will we see a past champion reclaim their throne? Or will a new contender rise from the depths of Loserville to add their name to the list of illustrious winners? Will Slug still always go all-in on Washington games no matter the odds or his leaderboard position because he's got trauma from being a fan of that team? (Yes.) Happy September, everybody! Let's do this. ########################## The Mock Gambling Thread is a competition that is a part gambling and part prediction contest. The competition lasts for the entirety of the NFL season and post-season and is open to all regular board members. Each player starts with fictional $1,000 that you can gamble as much or as little as you like on each week's Feature Game. There are two ways to increase your cash: Bet on the outcome of the Featured Game each week (with the spread). The featured game will be chosen each week from among the nationally televised games with the line set from when I post the thread. There will be a number of questions that will ask you to make predictions or to forecast certain outcomes across the NFL during the week. Correct answers earn you cash. You do not lose cash for wrong answers. The types of questions will vary each week, as will the amount of cash they can earn you. The competition continues through NFL season and post-season. At the conclusion of the Super Bowl the user with the most "cash" left will be the winner. THE RULES 1. You make your bet and answer the questions simply by posting on the thread each week with your pick for the featured game along with your bet, followed by your answers to the prediction questions. 2. Everyone starts with $1,000. If a user doesn't start until week 3, they still start with $1,000. Your best bet it to get in early and play every week. 3. If you somehow reach $0 you are not out of the competition. You can't bet on the feature game during weeks that you are broke, but you can answer the prediction questions and hope to earn cash to gamble the following week. 4. IMPORTANT: I will set a deadline for getting your entries for the week in (usually before kick-off of that week's first game). It is imperative that you make your post before the deadline. The entry thread will be locked at the deadline so if you don't get your entry in by then you lose out on the chance to make money that week. 5. I work full time AND am 24/7 on-call AND have a near crippling gaming addiction AND probably drink too much! Responsibilities and personality flaws allowing, I will attempt to post the results and the next week's game/questions each Tuesday, as early as possible. Keep in mind though that there may be some wackiness here and there based on my schedule and hangovers. Pay attention. 6. For the official recording of stats/yardage NFL.com will be used. Whatever their site says on Tuesday morning is what counts. No whining. 7. Accounts created within the current calendar month are not eligible to play and any entries from such accounts will not be considered. If you have any questions, ASK! Prize(s): The winner will be declared the Champion of the 5th D1P Edition of the Mock Gambling Thread and also take home a Fanatics.com gift card so you can get some swag from your team! @Keyser_Soze @thewhyteboar @Biggie @BasemntDweller2 @Commissar SFLUFAN @Pikachu @AbsolutSurgen @Kal-El814 @ Anyone else I may have missed or who really should get their ass in here and play! GenCon 2022

They might be? I acquired them second-hand; no catalogs here.

    GenCon 2022

I hear you. Games are my weakness, especially when I'm left at a con for a week with no adult supervision. :P The number of games that still have the cellophane on 'em or haven't made it to the table yet is no bueno.

    GenCon 2022

@Kal-El814 So apparently Fantasy Flight doesn't have a retail presence this year. They have a big booth but it's all demos and learn-to-plays. So there's no con exclusives for Star Wars or AH: LCG. Spoke to the Atomic Mass guys about Marvel too and they also did not have any exclusives or promos this year. I'll tell you this though, FF is running SW Legion play events and their terrain setups have some sick environments.

    GenCon 2022

I'll keep an eye out. If there are promos for any of those I'll try to snag 'em for you.
  12. Yeah I think that's why they started Unplugged. They've had tabletop areas at their other cons, but it got popular enough that they decided to do a con that was just that, hence Unplugged.
  13. From Reddit: They removed it and axed the creator's ability to mint new NFTs on their platform.
  14. Man, I have to assume whoever greenlit the picture didn't recognize/remember the source material. The artist clearly knew, but whoever approved it...I have to assume they didn't pick up on it. Frankly I wouldn't have picked up on it if you hadn't included the comparison pic. There's no way this doesn't get yanked once this hits the news.
  15. "We just never thought there was a darker side..." bahglhglhg IT'S THE INTERNET. Jesus fucking fuck these parents suck.

    GenCon 2022

Gen Con | Gen Con Indy 2022 WWW.GENCON.COM The Best Four Days in Gaming ~2 weeks away! As always, first beer is on me for any D1Pshits that show up.
  17. Also it still exists. :P Kidding aside, I didn't know South was a tabletop con.
  18. Heading to GenCon here in a few weeks. Indy isn't an expensive town. Getting there is kind of a pita since it's too close to justify the cost of a flight but still a hella drive from Jersey. Once you're there it's not a spendy town though and it doesn't get any bigger than GenCon.
  19. I got a few pals who drive up from VA for it and crash at my place. I'm just across the river in Jersey so we just pop over on the PATCO train each morning and go back to my house for all night beer and games each evening.
