    The Oscars took place on February 24th which was one week earlier than last year. That switch forced Marvel to push the premier to March 4th.

    I will also add that it's pretty rare for reviews to come out this late for an MCU movie. Usually they appear about 2 to 3 weeks beforehand, but there was some unusual circumstances that pushed the premier of the movie to March 4th. Marvel doesn't lift the embargo until the premier takes place. So I can understand the frustration in only having previews to rely on up to this point.

    Each critic decides whether to assign a rotten rating or a positive one. There are examples of critics submitting a 3/5 review but picking a rotten rating nonetheless.

    I had an instance where the last boss was killed but the mission would not complete. Hopefully the next patches address these issues.

    I think ultra goofy is the selling point for the movie. Shazam! doesn't want to be grouped with the Avengers, Batman, or other serious super hero movies. Shazam! is more akin to Deadpool in that respect.

    Tried the beta for a couple hours. It's competently made, but it didn't grab me. Anthem's gameplay is much more fun overall.
