Our county now has its first confirmed reinfection.

Man going back to a 980 from a 2080 Super is brutal. Sadly my son's MSI 2080 Super I had is still with MSI being "repaired." Can't wait for the 3080 to arrive so I can continue playing Cyberpunk (and general using my ultrawide with not shit settings for games).

I was seriously thinking it might have been Jan/Feb before I got my step-up notice. So I guess there is hope. But yeah, I am glad I decided to just buy a new card and put in for the step-up the moment it arrived instead of trying to get one via the normal retail channels.

eVGA just sent me my RMA number to step-up to the 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I'll be sending out my card tomorrow in hopes of getting it before xmas. In the mean time, down to a 980 for me for a few days.

Temporary trailers are being put in at the local hospital. Sorry about the quality was pulled off my dashcam. The county has also put in for a refrigerated trailer as they are expecting more deaths than morgue space in the coming weeks.

So one in every three tests in my county are positives at this point. I was thinking this was from undertesting but seeing the line for the community drive-thru tests makes me think otherwise and we are experiencing our Thanksgiving surge. Which to that point, 3 people that are part of our game night family went to every event their family put on, and some that their friends put on, and caught it and are bitching that they are losing time at work. I love them to death but told them that it was their own stupidity that resulted in this.

This has been an issue at our local hospital. The morons that are part of the anti-mask this is fake crowd brought it into the long-term facility and an outbreak that took 4 of the 30ish patients. Oh and 13 of the staff (just the nurses, housekeeping and food prep) brought it in because they attended a fucking baby shower.

I had to giggle when I seen that it was filed from Pahrump. Good bunch of proper crazies there.

I wouldn't seat them just based on the fact that they are unwilling to uphold their oath of office.

I mean it does state that those death were is U.S. history and the C.S.A. wasn't technically part of the U.S.

I know the big reason the elementary here is now full distance learning (and the district) is at the start of our outbreak there was student to student transmission in (I believe but am not 100% sure at the moment) a 4th grade classroom. Since that time of course everything in the county has gone to shit and the schools are full distance until after the new year as well as our hospital being locked down one of our stores being shuttered for deep cleaning as 8 of the 10 employees got it and this was before Thanksgiving. Oh and the counties largest employer believes that masks should be optional. Which is a powder keg waiting to happen (funny since the base is used for demil of munitions). The last helicopter we heard for the hospital was the day before Thanksgiving (because the surrounding counties will not take patients for care). Since that heli there have been 3 deaths and our hospital is now having to fend for itself to care for those sick with COVID (and any other emergencies). This is a hospital that has 11 staffed bed, and outside of 2 vents, no true ICU capabilities. For a county where nearly 1/2 the population is over 50 this has all the makings of a clusterfuck.
