  1. Basically, Resident Evil 4 did not play like classic Resident Evil because of the lackluster sales of the Remake. So he added more action to the fourth installment.
  2. The director himself disagrees with you. It didn't sell well.
  3. From my understanding, REmake was not a success. That's why it went from GC exclusive to RE4 releasing on the PS2. RE just didn't do well, and I still have never figured out if the RE2/3 remakes that were reported on back then were the result of mistranslations or if they were planning on doing them until REmake underwhelmed.
  4. Oh, I know all that stuff at the end; that's what is so amazing to me. Gamecube was more powerful, but with the consoles releasing just two years apart, the difference was still pretty astounding. I feel like DC and PS2 more resemble each other, with GC and Xbox being able to show better texture work that was in a different league at the time. Not sure if RE4 had pre-rendered backgrounds or not, but that looked lovely on the GC. I'd expect a big difference in different gens or even the beginning and end of a generation, but it's still stunning to see that kind of difference in the look of the characters in the span of two years in one generation. If DC survived, I feel like we would have seen its age much, much earlier, in addition to its one analog stick feeling dated for FPS games.

  6. I have been running around showing and messaging this video to coworkers for the last 10 minutes now thanks
  7. It's honestly nuts to look at this -- a game released in 2000 -- and compare it to the next Resident Evil game in 2002 on the Gamecube during the same generation.
  8. lol Not sure how legit the guy's account is. From the Reddit: "I question if this story is true or if it exists to promote divisiveness. u/pizzaratpizzarat has a one month old account and a lot of activity on a Virginia Guns sub that has been very divisive recently. Whether or not this story is true, it is certainly effective in inflaming class tensions in the US."
  9. What I find funny is: he's freaking out, which I can sympathize with, because these people won't be able to afford rent if they can't work. They're freaking out as well. And: He didn't have a rainy day fund either. His sole source of income is gone, but so is theirs, so.... The way I see it, landlord absorbing rent for the time being > people not having a home. I think this answer the guy got is one of the more understanding ones since some people in that thread seem out-of-touch: "This is a rough situation for you 100%, but know in your communication with your tenants that they aren't just doing this for funsies. They aren't just being lazy. They're already in trouble. Arguments based on "I'm going to be in trouble if you don't pay rent" will be entirely impotent. Why should they care about your problem? They're the one's who'll get fucked first. I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong, or that they should be pissed off at you. This is the world we live in. It's not an individual problem."
  10. I loved the demo. Nemesis scared the shit out of me the moment he ran at me. Really great level design for the city. I didn't know how it would work since the tighter spaces and limited areas to run worked in RE1 and 2, but it works very well in 3. Cannot wait until next Friday. A terrible jobs report awaits, but at least there's RE3make.
  11. "If I say the person is rich then I can dismantle the argument that the rich should be taxed more to help people poorer than that person I am the smartest person in the history of forever suck my dick"
  12. Definitely do Lost Legacy next. It was announced as a DLC but it ended up being a full-fledged game around the length of UC2 and 3. It also has the craziest set piece in all of the games, including 4's excellent convoy chase.
  13. Just a few months after giving away Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection to PlayStation Plus subscribers, PlayStation will round out Drake's story by offering Uncharted 4: A Thief's End for free in April. Uncharted 4 is joined by Dirt Rally 2.0, an off-road racing game that released in 2019. Both games will be free to keep as long as you maintain an active PS Plus subscription. Sony apparently let the cat out of the bag a bit too early, as the trailer announcing April's pair of free games quickly went private. Nevertheless, all PlayStation Plus freebies go live on the second Tuesday of the month, so you can expect to see both games up for grabs starting Tuesday, April 7.
  14. Actually, hard disagree. Not because it won't be bad, but if they're right and with all this information the health experts are way off, that doesn't bode well for an infinite number of other things we "know" about health, medicine and diseases.
