  1. I certainly felt that way last year when I heard the virus wouldn’t come here and it’ll get warm in April. I still don’t get how a guy who spent so much time in Florida doesn’t understand that it was already warm in Florida and the virus was still spreading. Whatever, this is how it should be!
  2. I can attest to that. I visited two years ago and loved it. That’s part of this big trip to the north west I took. I was able to see Seattle, Portland, the entire state of Washington west to east and a little bit of Idaho, and whitefish Montana and glacier national Park. The entire western third of the US should be big on tourism completely because it’s so fucking beautiful.
  3. FBI Director Wray: Several insurrectionists were "specifically motivated" by claims of "supremacy of the white race" and included "quite a number" of "racially motivated violent extremists" militia members No evidence ANTIFA had anything to do with January 6th.
  4. Oil is another for Alaska, plus tourism. Seems that if you're a state that doesn't have other ways outside of tourism to generate revenue, you had nothing to fall back on.
  5. Okay, bold out of the way, yeah, that sounds more like it. I still think my Dead Cells comparison was spot on since you feel a sense of progression upgrading things that carry over from playthrough to playthrough. It's because I loved Dead Cells that Hades interests me and Returnal interests me, so the fact that Hades has similarities to Dead Cells as well is exciting.
  6. What differences do you see that you have to stretched for Dead Cells but don't have to for Hades?
  7. I like this map because there's really no correlation between blue/red states. If you listened to Texas/Florida leadership, you'd think they were doing the best.
  8. I like to imagine that Demon's Souls Remake is actually coming from that NES cartridge.
  9. It's good. The real meat is playing the levels on harder difficulties since there's no co-op. I would suggest people not sleep on Matterfall either. It's an overlooked fun Contra-like game Housemarque released last gen.
  10. So I have nothing in Cnut's, but I'm still proud of this because I finally live in a house and actually have some kind of man cave in progress. More work needs to be done, but this is how it looked before I did anything: And then after: Still boxes around and all of that, but it just feels really good to set something up and enjoy it, you know?
  11. As awesome as all this looks, the most exciting thing was seeing the Morgana figure.
  12. I guess I'm elderly and infirm because I don't get why anyone would post their own tweets when you can just make a post. I don't understand you kids nowadays.
  13. My mom received both doses. She had minor side effects for a day. My dad is fixing to get his second shot soon.
  14. BB was my first. No regrets. But as Chris said, the gameplay is different -- it's faster and more offensive, rather than defensive (although parry is required in BB to really git gud). Demon's Souls was wonderful as well and of course is a great starting point considering it was the first. In some ways, it's best to start because bosses eventually became the biggest challenge of the game. In Demon's Souls, many bosses look intimidating but can be cheesed, and it seems as if it's done purposefully, but the level itself is more of the challenge and is more like old school Mario -- die and start at the beginning. In Bloodborne, there are more checkpoints and shortcuts, which makes the levels "easier." However, the bosses are some of the best I've played and can be very challenging. In my opinion, they're fun as hell and challenging, so I never felt frustrated dying so much. So if you do BB first, just know that when you go to Demon's Souls, don't expect the same level of challenge from the bosses.
  15. Exactly! Sometimes a game introduces you to a controller and it's nothing but a novelty, but the game is a lot of fun, has a ton of treats for Playstation gamers, and controllers like butter. I loved Astro Bot on VR and can't wait to see what ASOBI does next.
  16. Far-Right Platform Gab Has Been Hacked—Including Private Data | WIRED WWW.WIRED.COM The transparency group DDoSecrets says it will make the 70GB of passwords, private posts, and more available to researchers, journalists, and social scientists.
  17. Just because this is really great news, I wanted to make this into its own thread. Because a year ago all the news sucked. Seems like we're easily going to blow past the 100 million in 100 days goal.
  18. I remember Sony canceling a bunch of gaming events and wondering if people would think it was an overreaction. The Game Developers Conference was honestly the thing that made my ears perk. Then came one team dropping out of March Madness, and then another, and then the dominos fell. I feel like some teams pulled out before NBA canceled, but once the NBA did, then the NCAA did, and that got me anxious about the whole thing because now I'm confused as to what's going on and how bad this is. Also a nice reminder about @Kal-El814's favorite person, Ron Paul, who said, "It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach President Trump last month for abuse of power demanding that the Trump Administration grab more power and authority in the name of fighting a virus that thus far has killed less than 100 Americans," in March, putting him at the same level of HS/college spring breakers who thought people were overreacting at the time. The difference being many Spring Breakers were re-interviewed and regretted what they said.
