  1. Also, the game is pretty forgiving with the biomes. The ones you beat are easier as you acquire better weaponry and items, and I even encountered a shortcut that I can access now that gets me straight to Biome 3 from Biome 1, not to mention when you enter a biome, it makes sure your proficiency is higher.
  2. Sorry to hear about the update. Yeah, save feature's gonna have to be patched. I'm glad I haven't run into that yet. Some of their games don't have DLC, but they're typically supported. They love their games! Resogun had two different paid $5 DLCs and two free ones, including a ship editor. It added hoouuurrrsss of gameplay and skyrocketed it into one of my favorite games last gen. So I could see them adding something to this as well. I'm pretty sure it's straight-up wrong. A few dips, I guess? Maybe? I'm not even sure they're that noticeable. This game looks and plays great and wouldn't work on last gen tech without being severely compromised. I remember when they ported Resogun to PS3 from PS4, and that kind of game needs to be played at 60fps without all the bullets blending together and looking like they were smeared with Vaseline. For this, super quick load times and a smooth 60fps are a must, methinks.
  3. A lot of people seriously love this game despite any of those grievances because they consider them minor. The only thing I wouldn't consider minor is constant crashing, but since that hasn't happened to me, I can safely say I really love the fuck out of this game.
  4. Get to some of their older games if you dig this. Resogun, Alienation, Matterfall, Dead Nation, Super Stardust Ultra, and Nex Machina are all addictive. My favorites are probably the first two in terms of sheer addiction.
  5. I remember when The Illusionist and The Prestige came out; it felt strange that two movies, circa late 19th century/early 20th century, came out at the same time as they did. And while a big crime is central to both movies, they're pretty different in themes and feel. First, I'm the kind of guy who falls for just about any plot twist. At the time, The Prestige's twists got me. Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Memento, Usual Suspects, Seven, Fight Club, Gone Girl, etc. all had some kind of twist that I never saw coming. However, both movies are more than their twists. Prestige tells a great story even if you see the twist coming. I think the issue I have with The Illusionist is I think it tells a good story worth telling, but it seems a bit dry, lacking emotion in the dialogue/characters. I think part of the issue could be explained But still, I feel the other characters don't have too much of a personality to them; it seems sterile sometimes. All that said, I did enjoy the atmosphere of the movie, and the tricks seemed to defy reality to the extent that they were actually pretty creepy, especially during the bigger tricks Eisenheim did after a key point in the movie. There's one thing that's bugged me, and that's this trick earlier in the film: So this trick
  6. US begins reuniting some families separated at Mexico border - ABC News ABCNEWS.GO.COM The Biden administration says four families that were separated at the Mexico border during Donald Trump’s presidency will be reunited in the United States this week
  7. I just beat the second biome, and it’s because I took more chances. Half the time you get a malignancy, but you’ll find ways to use your items wisely to get rid of it if it requires you to use consumables, or you’ll find a way to kill enough hostiles and get rid of it. So open as much as you can and a lot of risk will be rewarded.
  8. The post I quoted of yours didn’t say anything about that. That’s not what I’m talking about.
  9. Gotta git gud enough to get those weapons in the first place! I’ve been having trouble in biome 2. Gonna try a new strategy.
  10. Great levels too. Metro Square is one of my favorite TM levels.
  11. Second biome is kicking my ass. I get to the second task in the biome, but I haven't gotten past there yet.
  12. Nothing frustrating for me. Bloodborne was a difficult game but I don’t think I ever found it frustrating.
  13. I beat one boss so far and got to the second area, and it does seem to give you some leeway. It's pretty easy to get back to the second area after dying, and since your perks on your weapons remain permanently unlocked, even your pistol will probably be a lot better in your next cycle. Had to take a break because I was playing three hours straight, but that was good shit.
  14. I own all of that, but that's REALLY good to know. You said you bought them, but you have a familiarity with the dev; what games of theirs have you played?
