General Gaming The Great Ace Attorney coming to PS4, Switch, PC on July 27

I think I read that if Great Ace does well, then the second trilogy is much more likely. Which works for me since I've only played Apollo Justice. -
"I’ve been playing this and can’t be too specific about it yet, but I’m kinda in love. Everything just feels so good. Movement, combat, the seamlessness of it all." linear-gradient(310.77deg, #29AA9F 0%, #098EA6 100%) Returnal preview thread | ResetEra WWW.RESETERA.COM Just grabbed a couple of £45 codes, thanks very much for the advice, good discount. I was planning on waiting for the reviews to drop, but I've seen enough to convince me. Pre-order confirmed...

I know all about Austin 3:16 and King of the Ring 1996, but I didn't know that was the first time he said "That's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so." HHH was interviewed about that since he was supposed to win at first. His comments were, "Halfway through, I knew he was getting made and I thought, 'Holy shit, that should have been me," but then another part of me said, 'Well, I wouldn't have cut that promo.'"

Yup, know about Infernal Affairs. I've never seen the full movie (I think there are multiple parts), but I've watched some scenes that are in both movies. It's so different in feel, I can tell. Infernal Affairs seems so cinematic, while in Departed, there's no slow-mo or set-up to someone dying. They're fucking dead. That's Scorsese, of course.

Pretty impressed they got Vince McMahon or this doc as well. And of course his right-hand man's there, Bruce Prichard. Good ol' JR is there and has to be. There's a funny sequence where they're talking about a three page list of new names he was given after Ringmaster, and Taker, Foley, Austin, and Bruce are reciting the names one after another, and they're so bad. Mr. Freeze was a pitch. Didn't know his wife at the time was the one who thought up his name, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

They're great. My gf, who's not a big gamer, loved playing it with me, but she's in forensics in real life, so she was kicking ass in the game. We still impersonate some of the characters in the game. Hell, I administer shots to her and she'll tell me, "I need an INJECTION!" as if she's saying objection. Fuck... I really love the stories in these games. The last cases in each game are crazy cool. -
I’m weird because I’ve liked Departed the best since it came out. I think it may be personal preference since it’s a story rather than a biopic? Like, there’s a well defined “Both the gang and the cops have rats in each other’s operations” whereas the others usually are character studies that don’t have an easier to define story. Not a critique, but i think that’s why I really love Departed.

Got the email. That hurt.

If I still did my "Post of the Week" threads from 10 years ago, this would be an insta-winner. I'm dying here.

Lesser Goodfellas is what I thought as well, and I figured it wasn't a must-see as Goodfellas was, but it's just a different film. It has Pesci and De Niro in it, and Pesci is a hothead, but it's a totally different dynamic, De Niro is a different character, the main woman in the film is a different personality entirely, it's its own thing.
