Avoiding fights did help. I’ve gotten to the boss at the end of biome three now. I’m trying to get there with an astronaut at the ready, but the Tie fighters suck.

In Louisiana, Biden pitches infrastructure - The Washington Post WWW.WASHINGTONPOST.COM Even in a Republican stronghold, Biden contrasted his plan with the GOP tax cuts of the Trump era. He stood in front of a bridge that’s outlived its expected working life by two decades. -
I’m starting to think my problem is forgetting what I used to do when I played a roguelite. I feel like sometimes, not fighting is the best strategy, but I’m not utilizing the strategy right now.

I feel really bad for people who lost their progress. And I feel bad for the devs because... shit, I can't imagine making a game that many are really enjoying and screwing up like that. Glad this was pulled quickly; right now, I'm just trying to help some people get their cloud save going so they barely lose any progress. I've lost much less progress in games and felt really crummy about it; losing a few dozen hours of progress would be devastating.

If you want to play it right now, I believe so. My guess would be if you just wait, the next patch will correct everything.

Should be an option in settings, separate from storage, to check your cloud saves.

I think they removed the ability to keep going back to your ship to heal. May have limited it to once now so it doesn't get abused.

I don't think they're permanent buffs, but they allow you to have better artifacts and items available to you in subsequent cycles that you wouldn't otherwise have. I forget if this was a cube or not, but I received a consumable that allows the first two times you're damaged to be converted to obolites or something like that.

You get lots of ether for defeating a boss, and you get to use those cube fabricators that gets you a really good permanent item for future runs. Since they're usually a lot easier the further you get into the game, it can be quite worth it. I beat the first boss again and took little damage, but regardless, I healed back at the ship anyway.

I experienced one glitch where everything was black but I could still move. That was it, though. Hope the new patch keeps it that way!

I think you can get one per run? It’s rare but it’s a good item.

What’s astonishing to me is that this orange tree trick was actually one that Houdini once did. It went like this. At the Chicago World’s Fair, before Houdini had really made a name for himself, he did this routine where he would be dressed like an Indian fakir and play a little flute or whatever he could think of while sitting cross-legged on the ground trying to attract a small crowd. He had a sheet or something lightweight laid out and he would then take a seed and “plant” it. He would make music and there would be a slow rise underneath and he would peel back the sheet to show a six inch sprout. He covered it, played a little more and it grew, and grew some more till it became a small tree with fruit. In other words, what we saw Hollywood do on film was an illusion that Houdini himself invented and performed as a young man. You’re right, probably, but some context

That’s Housemarque for you. Their games control perfectly. Resogun felt buttery smooth.
