Adopted a new kitten today so that Columbo would have a buddy to play with (our oldest cat, Little, just wants to sleep and cuddle). Since we named the last one Frank Columbo, we thought we'd continue the theme. And since he has a little mustache, meet Hercule Poirot: -
"I asked God to die quickly." A 17-year-old girl from Mariupol speaks of hunger, fear, and filtration camp EN.HROMADSKE.UA A blonde girl wearing a red poppies wreath, Ukrainian costume, necklace, and holding the bandura in her hands — that is how 17-year-old Maria Vdovychenko looked at pre-war photos. I've tried to remain at home, but they've forced me back in for two days a week. I wear an N95 the whole day, but at this point (in an office of 20 with no ventilation) I am the only one wearing a mask. No one saying if they have COVID or not (and there is no requirement to inform or isolate in my province, now), but the amount of people out sick has skyrocketed in the last few weeks, as has the coughing, sniffles, etc.

Finally watched this last night, at home. I loved it, it was everything I want from a Batman film. Beautiful, of course, as well as an amazing score, but overall I just really love the atmosphere. Highlights were the entire opening, showing Batman as a symbol of fear, waiting in every shadow, as well as when the Batmobile starts up for the first time. I've heard that people didn't like the final act, but I thought it was good, and worked well to show (to Bruce) the consequences of his actions, and that he can just as easily be a symbol of vengeance as justice.
