I know you were joking, but I actually wouldn't be opposed to that. Would make for a great, smaller, quicker Zelda while we wait for the next big mainline.

I read that as they're not going to use the same Hyrule map again, not that they won't do this style again. I'm hoping for new big map, with more enemy variety, proper dungeons, and better combat mechanics.

OK I looked it up, and apparently it was his first child with his first wife, not Grimes, so did she think he meant the first child he had with her, which is pretty stupid of her, or did she somehow know he wasn't there for the delivery of his first child with his first wife, even though the child died of SIDS at 10 weeks? I guess Monster Hunter Wilds is the sequel to Monster Hunter World, which I should really go back to and finish. Seems I can never finish a MH game, and I always get to them too late when I don't have others to play with.

lol at thinking this show is rigged just because your favourite didn't win. This is nothing more than an end of year celebration of the past year of games, and a glorified marketing show for new trailers (and there's nothing necessarily wrong with that), and the awards don't matter.

I feel like this is the kind of thing that probably only really works in the context of the game, and being played onstage for real just comes off as unintentionally cringey when it's supposed to be intentionally cringey in the game.
