I don’t disagree they should have recused themselves from voting on taking the case, and I believe all votes for granting certiorari should be made public (I don’t believe they are?) But this story feels a bit like CNN trying to get in on the bombshells from ProPublica and Washington Post, and this just ain’t it.

This seems like a bit of a stretch. They disclosed all the money received from these companies on their financial disclosures, and the case(s) weren’t even taken up by the court.

At this point, I’ve got to tip my cap to Clarence. He’s arguably the smartest Supreme Court Justice. He’s certainly not the first, but probably the most public Justice to just flat out flaunt that nothing matters. You can literally do anything. Impeachment? It will never happen. Ethics violation? You need ethical guidelines in the first place to violate them. Hell, called before Congress just to talk? Nope, John Roberts has recently said that breaks the separation of powers. There is no check or balance for the Supreme Court of the United States. I’m honestly surprised we all were convinced for so long there was.

I’m no expert in monetary policy, and it’s been a few months since I’ve heard Powell speak, but during today’s news conference it really struck me that he has absolutely no idea what he’s doing or what is happening in the economy.

I flipped thru the news channels this morning and Fox was absolutely talking about with Chip Roy. They were talking about how illegal immigration is out of control and how it needs to be stopped and how it could have prevented this. Apparently 1 illegal immigrant mass murderer is proof we need to do something about immigration, but 30k gun deaths is proof of nothing and just like well what can you do?

I think a majority of Don Lemon's popularity and influence comes from right-wing media saying he's popular and has influence. I don't think most Democrats care about him, and I don't think the average voter even knows who he is, in the same way they know who Tucker Carlson is.

The reason I have a hard time believing it was due to the Dominion, is Hannity, Ingraham, and Bartiromo are in those texts just as much and saying similar things, and we haven't seen any consequences for them (yet?).

It's pure speculation, but I would bet he was asked to issue an on-air apology or have less editorial control going forward with his segments, he said no to both, and they said see you later boy.
