Jason Posted September 1, 2020 Share Posted September 1, 2020 The raised fist imagery goes back to at least the Industrial Workers of the World in 1917. The color black is also historically associated with anarchism. The specific design used in the game certainly looks like the BLM fist imagery you see today but it isn't exactly a stretch to think that they were thinking of the historical anarchist/communist stuff and went with a BLM-style one since that's probably the majority of the top of the Google image results for "raised fist" right now. [edit]I also wrote that before realizing that it's a French developer. Go figure they didn't see why this specific style of raised black fist would seem like an incredibly loaded choice.
