Indivisible is a fantastic RPG hybrid brought to life through beautiful hand animation, a captivating score and an insanely addictive combat system.

If you’re willing to make the best out of the awkward battles and you love those classic RPG stories that start off small and build into these epic adventures, then you’ll definitely be in for a treat with Indivisible.

Cerealkillerz - Gabriel Bogdan - German - 8.7 / 10

Quote

Indivisible will probably disappoint Action-RPG Fans a bit because of the generic rpg features and the missing gameplay depth but the game brings a lot of variety with metroidvania elements, beautiful hand drawn animations and a heartwarming story with a setting that is definitely underrepresented.

Cultured Vultures - Brian Stasiukaitis - 6 / 10

Quote

Indivisible initially impresses with a tight package that visually stuns but after hours of repetition and ease, I'd rather take some time apart.

Daily Star - Dom Peppiatt - 5 / 5 stars

Quote

Indivisible is one of the best RPGs of the year. A masterclass in game design, Indivisible is funny, challenging and creative in equal measure.

Destructoid - Chris Moyse - 7 / 10

Quote

Indivisible is rich with character, personality and passion. But is hindered by technical problems, vacant maps, and pacing issues, which hold back its true potential. With a little tweaking, some of this could be reversed, allowing Lab Zero's delightful cast, deep combat, and dramatic storyline to shine through.

DualShockers - Cameron Hawkins - 9.5 / 10

Quote

With an enriching story, characters, and scenery, Indivisible is a spectacle and one of the best action platformers I've ever played.

Everyeye.it - Giuseppe Arace - Italian - 8.5 / 10

Quote

Some uncertainty in the balancing and in the platform phases represents only a small stumbling in the face of a playfully and artistically valuable work

Game Informer - Joe Juba - 7 / 10

Quote

When Indivisible is good, it reminds me of some of my favorite games. But it hits those heights only rarely, and is usually pulled down by tedium, repetition, and other issues.

Game Revolution - Michael Leri - 3.5 / 5 stars

Quote

Apart from its nuanced storytelling, Indivisible is a brilliant vertical slice of a more fully featured game that doesn’t exist. Almost all of its ideas seem like prototypes stuck in their early phases that are waiting to be fleshed out.

GameCrate - Angelo D'Argenio - 9.3 / 10

This is one of the best indie games to come out this year. Lab Zero has already shown that they know how to make an amazing fighting game and now they have shown they know how to make an amazing platformer and RPG as well.

GameSpew - Kim Snaith - 5 / 10

To say Indivisible is a bit of a disappointment is an understatement. It’s not a bad game by any means, but it could have – and should have – given us a much more enjoyable journey than what we’ve ended up with.

GameSpot - Michael Higham - 7 / 10

The sights and sounds of Indivisible, and its blend of action-RPG and 2D platforming, win your heart, though its pivotal moments let you down.

Gameblog - Julien Inverno - French - 7 / 10

Quote

Indivisible is a platform game and a no-fuss RPG. Without much depth either, a defect without a doubt for those who hoped to tackle a RGP borrowing a certain complexity. For others, it remains a very nice game, because of its beautiful Japanese cartoon attire, these characters, if they are very charismatic, at least always cute and fun, and its overall dynamism.

Gamers Heroes - Blaine Smith - 7 / 10

Quote

Indivisible is a great game, but it could have been amazing. The lack of weapons, armor, or other collectible items to make exploration worthwhile really makes a lot of the adventure a bit dull, and the repetitive nature of its level design definitely leaves a sour taste. Many of these issues will be off-putting enough for potential players, but if you can look past its seemingly basic design mistakes, Indivisible's level of charm, passion, and character are rarely seen in the genre.

GamingBolt - Billy Givens - 8 / 10

Quote

It's obvious from its opening moments that Indivisible has a lot of loved poured into it, boasting gorgeous visuals and interesting characters sure to win over your heart. It isn't a perfect example of either of the two genres it blends together, but it does plenty with each of them to make for an exciting adventure.

GamingTrend - David Flynn - 90 / 100

Quote

Indivisible takes the best of RPGs and fighting games and mixes them with a world full of secrets to find and a healthy dose of platforming goodness. While it doesn't reach its full potential in some areas, it's still a great time throughout.

Generación Xbox - JGBassols - Spanish - 9.5 / 10

Indivisible is the new Lab Zero Games title that brings together three genres such as platforms, RPG and metroidvania. Perfectly combined with a story that catches the eye thanks to its characters, Indivisible is a unique and indispensable experience. Without a doubt, one of the hidden ones at the end of the year.

God is a Geek - Chris White - 9 / 10

Quote

Indivisible is a wonderful blend of RPG and Metroidvania that has exciting battles and a world ripe for exploring.

GotGame - David Poole - 8 / 10

When it comes down to it, Indivisible is a game with a ton of love and effort. It may not be for everyone, but it has a clearly visible charm to it that gives it a bright glow.

Heavy - Elton Jones - 9 / 10

What’s delivered here is a throwback to a classic era of RPG’s that’s been sorely missed – Indivisible taps into the addictive battle system, unique cast of characters and standout music classic Square Enix RPG’s were celebrated for. Indivisible is a passion project that’s just as great as it was promised to be.

Hobby Consolas - Alberto Lloret - Spanish - 87 / 100

An interesting mix of genres, with a unique visual style, tons of humor and, salvo por algunos fallos menores, it unfolds like a very enjoyable and unexpected surprise that will enjoy all those seeking for a different game, long and with its own personality. No doubt, Indivisible it's one of 2019 biggest's surprises.

IGN - Kyle Campbell - 8.8 / 10

Quote

Indivisible manages to merge 2D platforming, thrilling combat, and a thought-provoking story resulting in one of the most wildly creative RPGs of the year.

IGN Italy - Alessandra Borgonovo - Italian - 8.7 / 10

Quote

Indivisible combines lots of mechanics in a brilliant way and also offers a fine hand-drawn style which breath life into the whole experience.

Just Push Start - Grant E. Gaines - 2.5 / 5

Quote

Look, Indivisible isn’t an awful game, it just makes too many poor choices to count.

Killa Penguin - Jake Arias - 7 / 10 stars

Quote

Indivisible doesn’t have a great first couple of hours, oscillating between its serious and playful tones so quickly that both are meaningless. The game’s early boss fights are also horribly gimmicky thanks to a tendency to shoehorn awkward real-time sequences into the turn-based combat. Still, Indivisible finds its footing 5+ hours in and maintains a solid stride all the way to the final boss fight, which is one of the worst final encounters I can recall seeing in a game.

Leadergamer - Alper Dalan - Turkish - 4 / 5 stars

Quote

This is the game where you can show all those experience you've gained since now.

Metro GameCentral - 8 / 10

Quote

An agreeably peculiar mix of role-playing game and Metroidvania but whose best feature is its charming visuals and one of the most endearing cast of characters seen in a long time.

MonsterVine - Spencer Legacy - 3.5 / 5

Quote

Despite some technical issues and repetitive gameplay, the unique exploration-based platforming and fantastic art style that Indivisible boasts make it an overall fun ride.

Noisy Pixel - Azario Lopez - 9.5 / 10

It's been about over four years since Indivisible's announcement, but I would have to say that the wait was worth it. Do yourself a huge favor and play this game.

NoobFeed - Adam Siddiqui - 90 / 100

Quote

Indivisible has taken years to finally release and it was well worth the wait. The incredible graphics, amazing characters, and terrific gameplay combine for an excellent adventure. Ajna's journey from village girl to humanity's savior is a gripping tale full of character-defining moments and outstanding boss fights. It does lack the in-depth customization that RPG fans enjoy and the upgrade system is shallow as well. But these shortcomings rarely hamper what is one of the best games of 2019. Indivisible delights and challenges the player with a beautiful journey that will keep you hooked to the very end.

PC Gamer - Lauren Morton - 75 / 100

Quote

Indivisible's inventive battle system brings the thrill of a fighting game to a JRPG-like party system but its platforming sections aren't as magical.

PC Invasion - Andrew Farrell - 8 / 10

Quote

Although it has an underwhelming story and some pacing issues, Indivisible is a great game filled with memorable characters, gorgeous visuals, entertaining combat, and fun dialogue.

PlayStation Universe - Eric Hauter - 9 / 10

Quote

Everything in Indivisible – from the colorful visuals to the "Oooom" noise when you save your game – is calculated to delight. Despite some uneven difficulty, both the platforming and battle systems entertain. But it's the character design and voice work that is really the star of the show here, making Indivisible a strong contender whether you are a genre fan or not.

Push Square - Liam Croft - 7 / 10

Quote

Despite running into one too many difficulty spikes, Indivisible successfully blends the RPG and Metroidvania genres into one stunning experience. Its plot may be simple and some characters bothersome, but the 2D platforming that bridges the gap between those narrative beats is a dream. Indivisible is a little bit too forgettable in a couple of aspects, but it makes up for that when the tough gets going.

RPG Fan - Alana Hagues - 85 / 100

Quote

Indivisible takes three different genres and melds them together expertly to create something wholly unique.

RPG Site - Josh Torres - 9 / 10

Quote

Lab Zero's crowdfunded Valkyrie Profile-inspired RPG has finally released and the result is a brilliant game filled with personality and heart.

Rock, Paper, Shotgun - Giada Zavarise - Unscored

Quote

Indivisible may lack the number-crunching aspects of Disgaea, but it embodies the same sense of earnest cheer. It won’t change your life, but it’s a pleasant romp, extremely pretty, and clearly made with a lot of love. All good stuff.

Screen Rant - Connor Trinske - 3.5 / 5 stars

Quote

Indivisible is a lovingly-made game with an exciting combat system and an enchanting world, but stiff platforming and other rough spots hold it back.

Shacknews - Donovan Erskine - 9 / 10

Quote

Indivisible manages to be something fresh and new, without ever getting too outside of the box.

Slant Magazine - Aaron Riccio - 3.5 / 5 stars

Quote

Each part is so overflowing with jokes, ideas, characters, and charm that you won't want to separate from the whole game.

Spaziogames - Italian - Unscored

Quote

Indivisible has lot of style and an engaging gameplay, with high paced combat system (sometimes too much) and interesting platforming. Difficulty curve is at some bosses too steep.

TechRaptor - Samuel Guglielmo - 5.5 / 10

Quote

Indivisible has some fantastic art and one of the most fun combat systems I've gotten to play with in an RPG. It's a shame it's brought down by a boring story, terrible writing, confusing moments, and some absolutely atrocious platforming

The Digital Fix - James Eckhoff - 10 / 10

Quote

Indivisible is a gorgeous game that beautifully blends genres to create an engaging, exciting experience. This is a pleasantly refreshing take on a much reproduced gaming formula.

The Games Machine - Stefano Calzati - Italian - 8.9 / 10

Quote

Indivisible is a delightful work, a mix of genres, inspirations, characters, shapes, colors and sensations that on paper should rarely work but instead here becomes a stylistic and playful figure. Despite small and sometimes annoying defects, the title Lab Zero is a precious jewel of playability and narrative.

TheSixthAxis - Steve C - 8 / 10

Quote

Indivisible is far more than the sum of its parts. The full game lives up to the promise of the early prototype and is a fantastically original take on a mix of familiar genres. Aside from small issues with balancing combat in the later parts of the game and a frustrating end boss, there is very little here to criticise.

TrustedReviews - Jade King - 4.5 / 5 stars

Quote

A mixture of lovely characters and a world brimming with imaginative ideas is complemented by a rock-solid combat system and experimental platforming that blend together strangely, but just works. If you're after a smaller adventure in-between the coming month's biggest releases, not much will shine brighter than this gem.

Twinfinite - Hayes Madsen - 4 / 5

Quote

Ultimately, Indivisible is an incredibly unique little JRPG that doesn’t quite live up to its grand ambitions, but comes darn close.

USgamer - Nadia Oxford - 4 / 5 stars

Quote

Indivisible's unique blend of platforming and action-heavy monster fights will take some getting used to, but everything feels good once it clicks into place. Indivisible has some problems with its camera and map, but you'll be too busy marveling at its wonderful graphics to feel much of a sting.

VGChartz - Jacob James - 8 / 10

Quote

Hands down one of the best games you’ll experience this year.

Wccftech - Kai Powell - 7.5 / 10

Quote

Both a beautiful character design and meaningful focus on the action aspects, both in battle and traversing around in Indivisible are so good that the weaker aspects only stand out more.

Worth Playing - Chris "Atom" DeAngelus - 8 / 10

Quote

Indivisible was incredibly close to being the best indie RPG I've ever played.
