Anyone else experiencing the editor retaining what you just posted after hitting submit?

Happening to me on both desktop Firefox and Android Brave (a Chromium browser).

Yes it happens to me on occasion not on mobile (safari) but on firefox.

Yes. This happens most often to me when I’m replying to a thread while I’m not on the last page of that thread. Actually I dunno that I’ve seen it happen any other time.

@SFLUFAN @Emblazon the 4.4.5 patch notes make it sound like the patch possibly address this, but I won't be able to get to it myself until sometime next week.

Okay, I ran the update. Hopefully nothing broke, and it fixes this editor issue.

I feel like I'm gonna wind up jinxing it, but based on the frequency with which it was happening to me, if it hasn't happened in 72 hours then it isn't happening.

Yeah, I haven't either, I think whatever the problem was the 4.4.5 update fixed it, and actually made submitting replies seem like it's a lot more responsive overall.

I just had it happen in the context of hitting submit, and the post submitting, but it getting stuck on "saving" and having to reload the page to get the post box back.

 

It happened in the impeachment thread.
