Remarkableriots
Is the StarCraft II Campaign Collection the cheapest way to get the expansions? I have the base game from a long time ago. I never got to play it much and would like to play through the game.
Greatoneshere
I'm not sure exactly what you mean. StarCraft II doesn't really have "expansions", it is just three equally lengthy full games: Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. Whatever collection has all three is probably the best/cheapest way to get them then. There is Nova Covert Ops (a mission pack), but I believe that would come with any collection.
AbsolutSurgen
Battle.net has regularly scheduled sales -- and the Starcraft 2 campaign collection is usually 25%-33% off. I would anticipate their Spring sale will be the first couple of weeks of April. (The last sale ended just over a week ago.)

I think this is semantics Unless this is some kind of StarCraft inside joke I’m not privy to

Is Nova Covert Ops that game they cancelled? I think it was called Ghost?
dualhunter
No, it's a SC2 mission pack featuring the main character from the canceled SC Ghost, so it's still RTS and not a 3rd person shooter.
unogueen
Since you bought WoL (?), HotS is a free campaign. That leaves the Protoss campaign and the Nova addon to buy. Play through HotS, and see if you really wanna drop money.
