GameDadGrant
My son got a Wii U for Christmas. Needs an external Hard Disk Drive for storage. Any suggestions? Most likely need one with its own A/C adaptor.

chakoo
What for? Hacking or just general WiiU usage? The eshop is closed so I can’t imagine you’re downloading much.
Keyser_Soze
Grant's family had a weird Christmas. Are you sure all your minds are right over there?
cusideabelincoln
External AC adapter is indeed required. You can buy an external enclosure and then put any hard drive in it. I have a 500GB drive connectd to my WiiU and it holds almost all of the major games on it, but 1+TB would be recommended to fit just about every interesting/unique game. Unless things have changed since I modded mine, I think original Wii games that were not in the eShop need to be on a separate hard drive. Seems like the "safest" route.
