It's very tactical, I'll say that. It's not a hack n slash but very methodical. My 4th encounter after the intro I got wrecked. But then I payed attention to my companions advice and it was a breeze. Stuff like that is gonna be all through this game if I had to guess. Larian is all about making you feel like your choices matter and it's been pretty evident early on in this game

That is like no time at all for bg3. Steam needs to up their time on RPGs/Games with Character creation.

Better than an hour! You’d definitely have to treat it as a demo and just skip past the character creation and cinemas as quick as possible to try some gameplay for 90 minutes and then start over if you buy it.

I agree it's a nice feature. I never trust refunds and my money is super tight.

lol what I bought the game I’ve talked about it! I bought it but just haven’t really put a lot of time in it and don’t have a strong opinion on it or know if I’ll like it or not yet

Probably because I bought it in the summer when it first came out of early access and then only played a little so I didn’t really talk about it much
