Actually it's the "PS2 Classics" version from the PS4 running on PS5 and also supposedly runs worse than the original game on a PS2 (as of 2 months ago). Yep. I've been playing it and at first I was checking my output settings on my PS4, but no. It really does run at it's native resolution. Coming from XBox back compat and all its teaks and upscaling, it was disappointing to say the least. If it weren't for some weird shadow rendering issue I'd just play it on the Swanstation.
