Posted June 5, 2022 Share Posted June 5, 2022 I just watched both for the first time in the past week and a half, which is the only reason I'm talking about them both in the same thread since they're not remotely close to the same kind of movie. The Outfit is a new movie by a new director -- a crime thriller -- and it's really a lovely little movie and a promising start for director Graham Moore. BlacKkKlansmen was really good and my first Spike Lee movie, and I'd say more but I'm fucking tired right now and sick of forgetting to make a thread about BlacKkKlansmen so screw it. However, I'm in the middle of finishing the entirety of House while also writing an essay on why "the Marksman" is secretly a brilliant film masquerading as a bad one. Oh and I'm also playing Phantasy Star and also for some reason I'm compiling a spreadsheet of climate data. Not really sure what the end goal of that will be yet, but knowing Sao Luis, Brazil is climate-wise an evil twin city of Mogadishu fascinates me for some reason. ... I need a life.
