Zero Punctuation is still a thing?

I’ll say it again. I don’t know shit about One Piece but that looks incredibly awesome and fun. Looking forward to it!

Nope it works. Totally fine trailer. Disliking the song in a trailer and the trailer objectively being bad are not the same thing.

I have zero memory of anything that happens in the second book lol

I’m going to finish it for sure simply for the story but I kinda agree. The formula of main quest followed by numerous side quests isn’t creating the excitement it did in the beginning. Also does anyone ride their Chocobo? I prefer simply running around with Clive on foot.
I ride mine all the time. I use him to ride past any random mobs I don’t want to deal with. I also enjoy jumping off ledges and floating down way more than I probably should haha.- 1

Fair enough. Merlin looks too young though. I didn't even catch which one was supposed to be Derfel.
I agree 1000% about Merlin. That casting has me troubled.
I think Derfel is the guy in the trailer with the longish white/blond hair?
The descriptions I can find of the show do say that Derfel telling Igraine the story of Arthur as an old man is the how the show is structured. So that’s good at least. One of my favorite parts of the books was what Igraine thought was the different stories about Arthur and Durfel correcting her. I thought that was such an incredibly clever way to use both sides.

One of my favorite series...and that looks very meh. The cast gives me CW vibes. I'll give it a shot though.
I looked up the pedigree of the writers/showrunners/directors and there’s some really good work done there. So I’ve got my hopes up. The books take place over a lifetime so they needed to cast young to start. -

first episode was good! thank god i watched a bigger summary video on youtube or i would have been fucking lost
Yeah I paused 5 minutes in and went and read through a much more detailed summary of season one lol. I forgot exactly how long all the time jumps were in the first season. -
Sooooo this is hands down my favorite book series of all time. Since the success of The Last Kingdom I’ve been praying for a great adaption of The Warlord Chronicles. I think it’s a vastly more interesting, complex, clever and emotional story than The Last Kingdom and I loved that show and books.
But this trailer does not leave me feeling good. It seems to be portraying Arthur as the main character which he absolutely is not. Hopefully I’m wrong and they’re leaning on Arthur to attract viewers who aren’t familiar with the books. But I’ve got not great vibes and that makes me sad.

I forgot Apple does weekly release. I’m so annoyed right now lol
First episode is fantastic. Lee Pace picking up right where he left off being incredible as Empire. So happy this show is back.

Season is utterly fantastic. But yeah, they’re gonna have to do some unbelievably heavy lifting to get me to care even the slightest bit about this show without Cavill

Yea and my issue is I'm constantly comparing the combat to Ragnarok while I'm playing which doesn't help.
This game just reminds me how stunning the new GOW games are. From a combat point of view but also the leveling up and RPG elements all together.
Yeah but in this game you aren’t forced to play as Clive’s shitty, boring, awful son multiple times.- 2

I started last night and watched the first two. I’m into it. I usually love these stories until they inevitably escape whatever small post apocalyptic shelter they’re living in. Looking at you Maze Runner.

The director's cut of Sucker Punch was at least better than the theatrical cut. I think it's an interesting movie, but not a successful one. For me:
Good Snyder: Dawn of the Dead (director's cut), 300, Watchmen (director's cut), Man of Steel
Solid Snyder: Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, Justice League (Snyder's cut), Army of the Dead
Bad Snyder: Sucker Punch (director's cut), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (director's cut)
And yes, out of the nine films Zack Snyder has directed so far, five of them have director's cuts and they are all better than their theatrical cuts.
Agree with this breakdown 1000% I legit love all the movies in the “good” tier.- 1

I’ve been lurking around the edges of the Warhammer universe for years to intimidated to put a toe in. Might as well take the first step

I can’t wait for this game. I enjoyed the last three giant open world games but really they’re so drastically far away from what I originally fell in love with for this series. If you jump right from Revelations to Valhalla you’d wonder why they even bothered putting the AC name on it.

I generally like Snyder’s stuff and no matter what it’s always interesting to look at. I’m excited for this.

Just finished
SpoilerDestroying the second mother crystal. The story had been full of Holy Shit moments already but now you can kinda see how the pieces are being moved around for what o assume will be an even more bat shit crazy second half
My counter reads 22nd hours and 58% completed.
So far there’s only been one part closer to the beginning of the game where I felt “ugh this is tedious let’s get it moving” once you unlock your 3rd set of powers the combos start to reveal themselves and I can wipe out small mobs much faster so exploring and side quests feel much more fun.
Absolutely loving this game

Sweet, can you make some new Strong Bad episodes next? Maybe some new AVGN episodes too?
