Really really liked last night's episode. Really made you feel for egwene while being trained as a damane, a long with rymas last stand. Lanfear was great as well
Just caught up. Yeah Ep 6 is easily the best episode of this whole show so far. They did a better job in one episode conveying imprisonment and a character being broken mentality than GoT taking whole season to do poorly. Lanfear is amazing. -
Before the Ash Tray Maze there was this piece of awesomeness.

Poets of the Fall confirmed to have recorded multiple songs for the game under their Old Gods of Asgard name they used for Alan Wake. Also actually going to be characters this time around.
Probably just me because I love the band in general but the sequences where they use their music are some of my favorite in all of gaming.

I’m jealous of new PS5 owners getting to play Astro for the first time.

Is there a way for me to skip season 1 entirely? Like, some kind of 10-minute recap on youtube?
There’s a fair number of recaps, I haven’t watched any but I imagine the 20 minute ones probably cover everything you need. -
Oh thank god! I actually started over at one point because my characters appearance was annoying me haha

This season is fantastic!

The goofiness among the serious tones is what makes it so charming. DND properties that take themselves overly serious tend to be "meh", IMO; take the source material seriously, but I'd rather it not take itself seriously, if that makes sense.
100% I agree completely. Honestly I had a hard to expressing what I meant. Vox is just sooooo over the top goofy sometimes. I think if they scaled it back just a bit but still kept a sense of humor it would be fantastic while not feeling like an attempt to be a Critical Roll thing. If that makes sense.- 1

I would greatly enjoy an animated adventure with these characters + cast
Agreed. Get Netflix to give it to the Castlevania Team, and give it a slightly more serious tone.
Would be a nice contrast to Vox Machina.

The Phil Spence email where he basically says that the best thing for Nintendo is a future where they’re not making hardware…lol, how’s it working out for them?

Each episode getting better than the last. 3rd really slowed the pace way down and did some nice character work. The dude playing Arthur is nailing the Arthur from the books. They’re sticking pretty damn close to the books so very excited so see how they handle a few things coming up.

His run of Mononoke to Spirited Away to Howl’s is untouchable imo. No one will ever have a run like that.

I think one key difference that helps Sunny compared to most other comedy shows as well is that the creators are also the writers, producers and actors who play the characters. They have such singular creative control that quality control issues on Sunny are rare because the actors don't want the characters ruined and it will never happen since the actors are also the producers and writers.
On Shadows, who is to say down the line what bad comedy writers hired in the writers' room that the classic ensemble of actors are forced to say lines from when they are probably thinking it's not good. Most long in the tooth shows suffer from this issue that Sunny can't really.
Well damn. Touche 😂- 1

While I did enjoy the vast majority of this season, I do genuinely hope that the creators are seriously figuring out how to bring the stories of these characters to their natural conclusions after the already-renewed sixth season.
Booooooooooooooo if Sunny can still be going and still be funny, then What We Do in the Shadows can have a long ass run as well. No reason to end this show anytime soon.- 1

Sbl could be contrarian and annoying but those are pretty tame flaws in the grand scheme of things. He brought a lot of other interesting takes and insight to the table.
Big loss for the boards.

Watched the first episode tonight. Uhhhh it’s fucking fantastic. It wiped away the entire scent of the god awful finale of S1. It does what S1 never allowed itself to to take the time to do. Spend an entire episode slowing down and just spending time with the characters. And I really really liked S1 until the finale. Man I can’t wait for the rest of this season.

Gears of War 3 was the first game to ever make me tear up. The nostalgia of the song and the memories is brought back of playing 1 with friends had as much to do with it as the actual story beat.
Last Guardian. I fucking lost it.
GoW Ragnarok. Got me to tear up a few times and lose it towards the end.
Might have been a couple small moments here and there I’m forgetting. The end of Ezio’s story when he was old maybe? The end of Black Flag maybe(my absolute favorite end to a game)?

First three episodes of Season 2 are fucking fantastic! It doesn't feel rushed like the first season did and the changes they are making from the books are super interesting. I'm really hoping the strike doesn't fuck this series up.
Awesome hear! This will fill in the gap nicely since for some weird reason Ep 3 of Winter King isn’t for two more weeks 🙄 -
Man reading all these user reviews has me SO DAMN EXCITED!!!!!
……..to get home and start the preload for Baldurs Gate 3.

What’s worse, save scumming or changing the console clock to time travel in Animal Crossing?

Episode 3 is on TV right so I’m rewatching it. This shit is not good by any measure. Even the fights suck.

This is the correct ranking. Odyssey is great but the other two are SOOOO bloated and overly long with zero pay off whatsoever.
With each AC game that Ubi releases they further enforce that they truly have no fucking clue what makes the games good and just occasionally get lucky.
