    They were purchased almost 2 years ago by a consortium that includes Jordan Bitove, Paul Rivett and former Premier of Ontario David Peterson (Liberal). The paper endorsed Trudeau in the 2021 election, and its editorial room remains fiercely anti-Conservative today. I can’t speak to what may or may not happen in the future.

    The only media source that I am aware of that is blatantly/unabashedly pro-Conservative and anti-Liberal is the Postmedia group of Newspapers. Toronto Star (both the Star and the Spec) and english-language CBC (Radio, TV and Internet) are blatantly/unabashedly anti-Conservative. I don't watch enough TV to have formed an opinion on Global/CTV News/City -- however, based on a lot of tweets from their reporters, the guys on the street certainly skew Liberal.

    Wearing a rumal in a Gurdwara is common courtesy, and a sign of respect. They are literally at the door for visitors to put on. Criticising someone for wearing one makes you a racist POS.

    Emergency Room capacity in Canada was a problem before COVID. Variety of causes, but extreme wait times and using wait rooms/storage rooms for surge capacity would even happen in Toronto during flu season.

    My experience with Covid: 1) Exposure Saturday at Dinner 2) Very mild cold symptoms Monday night 3) Felt like I had a slight runny nose on Tuesday 4) Felt like I had a mild Flu on Wednesday 5) Mild symptoms during the morning on Thursday, 99% on Thursday evening These vaccines work. Anecdotally, I know SOOO many people who have caught it (and tested positive in the last month), and my symptoms were among the worst.

    I'll be skeptical that the Ontario Science Table has been politically compromised to falsify data. I just don't believe that anyone would put that much effort into altering leading indicator.

    I think he will be more right than wrong on the BA2 wave. Wastewater signals are decreasing, many other places didn’t have a huge wave and the ICU numbers haven’t spiked. There are still a lot of people upset about the previous Liberal government.
