  1. Would it be fair to assume that if there was a mechanical failure of some kind, the crew would have alerted air traffic control before the flight went down?
  2. When my natal unit was pregnant with me, they did an ultrasound and found the female was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later, they discovered that I had resorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissues has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown human and a little baby human.
  3. Most of the Commonwealth countries do not choose their leader through the popular vote, right? The prime minister is indirectly elected.
  4. If Iran does retaliate against any of our Naval assets in the Gulf I could see this escalating out of control. Ultimately, Iran would lose and their Navy would be effectively destroyed, but America would probably lose a lot in the process as well.
  5. Sure it does. Drunk driving constitutes a majority of alcohol related deaths. Younger people also have less experience behind the wheel. Throw in alcohol and the situation becomes worse. I believe an 18 year old is adult - they should be able to enjoy adult things. By halving the legal limit for 18-20 year olds, it allows them to drink, but it essentially forces them to not drive because of the absurdly low BAC for their age group.
  6. My ideal law would look like this: 18 and up can consume alcohol, but the legal driving limit for those under 21 is 0.04, and over 21 it is 0.08.
  7. If we are going to treat 18-20 year olds as children with certain things, they should be charged as children, and not as adults, when the break the law concerning these things.
  8. Just came here to post this. They do need new leadership for sure. They also need a change in culture at the company.
  9. The successful year was actually before. That capsule did a test mission to the ISS and it was near perfect. After the capsule returned they were performing ground testing of the abort system and it blew up. They determined why and have rectified the root cause. In January they are performing an inflight abort test. If successful, NASA will likely certify the SpaceX capsule to fly humans.
  10. NASA is building their own capsule and rocket under the SLS program. From 2011 through 2014, the government has spent $14 billion developing the new launch system, and it won't fly it's first test mission until next year at the earliest.
