  1. The best thing that could happen to the Democrats is for SCOTUS to strike down Obamacare - because you know that the GOP doesn't actually have a plan if Obamacare is no longer law.
  2. (Sexually transmitted) diseases were Donald's personal Vietnam. He knows a thing or two because he's had a thing or two.
  3. It's not sexism. Her speaking gate is awkward and doesn't instill confidence. I think O'Rourke was in the same category. Now I didn't agree with either of the policy positions admittedly, but they were both bad speakers.
  4. Warren is to shrill to be presidential. Plus she is incredibly dodgy when it comes to how she pays for all of these programs she wants.
  5. We currently have tickets to fly Easter weekend to see my parents up in Washington. I kinda don't want to fly now.
  6. Both parties need to go back to the party picking the nominee anyways. That means you are less likely to get someone like Trump getting the nomination.
  7. Drink a bunch of colloidal silver until you look like Papa Smurf. You may be blue for the rest of your life, but you'll have a super immune system, or so I'm told.
  8. I just got over flu like symptoms. Feeling better, but it kept me out of work on Thursday and Friday.
  9. It's easily digestible by the voters though. Replace Fidel with Mao. Or Chavez. Or Soviet leaders. Bernie has got a gold mine of favorable language towards some of the most autocratic shitheads in modern history.
  10. It is concerning. How closely were US officials looking at travel between South Korea (and other nations that have had outbreaks) and the US? I think it's a forgone conclusion that we'll start seeing outbreaks here in the US as well. The question is, how well can it be contained?
  11. I guess I'm more curious than anything else, but I don't understand why Buttigieg can't gain traction with black voters. His policy positions are palatable (I would assume) towards black people. His name recognition isn't as good as Biden or Sanders though. I doubt being gay helps him much in one the more socially conservative corners of the Democratic party either. I haven't seen any data that shows he was unpopular with black voters when he ran for mayor twice. I'm assuming most black people who voted in those races voted for Pete over his Republican opponent.
