  1. This weekend's top ten combined for an estimated $50.35 million, which is the lowest, week eleven combined gross for the top ten since 1995 with all holdovers dropping -60% or more compared to last weekend. With all new wide releases postponed until April 10, things are unlikely to improve. Onward plummeted 73%. The Invisible Man plummeted 60%. https://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/2020W11/?ref_=bo_wey_table_1
  2. I agree. I haven't seen either Brave or Cars in ages, but I remember thinking Brave was actually worse despite me being really hyped for it. The movie having multiple directors felt evident in the film, and it felt strangely small in scope. Cars at least felt more focused even though its script was too on-the-nose compared to every Pixar movie that came after it until Cars 2.
  3. I'm reading the NSAID thing isn't true or is unsubstantiated. https://m.apotheke-adhoc.de/nachrichten/detail/coronavirus/fake-news-ibuprofen-verschlimmert-infektion-die-schattenseite-der-corona-krise/
  4. I heard on NPR that Europe has had more deaths from COVID-19 than the rest of the world combined, minus China. Granted China's a damned big part of the world (it's not like the rest of the world minus Arkansas), but still.
  5. On the surface, but prolonging the fight to give people the right to vote once they served their time and not banning fracking after campaigning on it with a legislature and leadership that was open to it means he's just good at seeming more moderate than he is.
  6. Here's the best part about the clip. When you realize Geraldo Rivera, the guy going, "You're lucky you're not in front of me, big guy," and implying he'd kick his ass, is the adult in the room.
  7. My work has offered an additional two weeks of paid sick time, complete with an email detailing every symptom and how it feels different than the cold and flu, and telling us at the onset of any symptom, don't come to work.
  8. Fox News is trying to cover for the president, but don't forget the real scandal when Obama didn't wear a jacket.
  9. Disney World and Disney Cruises are closed for the month starting Sunday So is Universal Studios Hollywood
  10. Holy fucking shit, that would be huge considering the developers in Sony Japan.
