  1. I'll up what Keyser said: make separate threads more often. It's bad enough going on the politics board and seeing nothing but mega-threads and "official" threads with weird titles.
  2. I'm seriously thrilled how much you guys are enjoying it. A couple of posters who used to post here knew about Housemarque and played their arcade games, but I've felt like I was the last one here for ages. Glad they have the relationship with Sony that they do because not every small dev with arcade sensibilities gets to have the backing of a major publisher going back to Super Stardust.
  3. They're a first party studio, so it's not indie, but the studio is small and the budgets aren't huge. So it's going to bear more resemblance to a small indie studio as opposed to Santa Monica.
  4. I'm probably gonna be swimming in 3D Mario World/Odyssey/NSMBU when I get a Switch, so I get you, but Sackboy is really good. Awesome couples game and great couch co-op and online options, lots of creative hazards/enemies, fun customization for your characters. I played parts of 3D Mario World years ago which is what got me interested in Sackboy. No regrets. Sackboy is a great game.
  5. Yup. I noticed that during Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, an absolutely delightful VR title. It's funny: I didn't care about platformers for ages, and then Astro Bot and Sackboy make me love platformers again and make me doubly excited for Ratchet, which I already loved but is half-platformer/half-shooter.
  6. I still find it funny that Chewbacca, who was previously simply a smuggler alongside Han Solo, ended up fighting along motherfucking Yoda in the Clone Wars.

  10. I remember seeing it up to, like, 10 pages within 10 minutes of being posted. I feel like you could take "This thread is gonna go places" and "lol at the reactions" and that would probably make up at least 9 of those pages.
  11. Some reluctant Democrats consider ditching filibuster for voting bill despite grim prospects over changing rules WWW.CNN.COM Some defenders of the Senate's filibuster rules are reconsidering their past refusal to gut the potent stall tactic if Republicans carry through with their plans to block Democratic legislation to rewrite the nation's voting and campaign finance laws.
  12. Just read this, which may be helpful if you're greener to this whole thing: Opinion | Netanyahu’s On the Way Out. 17. 15 Years Ago This Month, Valve Announced Half-Life 2: Episode 3 KOTAKU.COM It seems like just yesterday when Valve announced a trilogy of expansions for their super-popular PC game, 2004's Half-Life 2. But it’s actually been 15 years since Episode 3 was announced. And while Valve has since released a new Half-Life game, it wasn’t the one the developer announced back in 2006.
