  1. Haha, WOW, how embarrassing for Biden—he might not even be President!
  2. Lol. "Me and my fellow Space Guardians love eating out at the Warrior Restaurant."
  3. So the US will send doses now, and then Canada and Mexico will send other doses back later this year. Why? I guess then those doses will be sent to other nations.
  4. U.S. plans to send 1.5 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Canada, says official: Reuters | CBC News WWW.CBC.CA The United States plans to send roughly 4 million doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine that it is not using to Mexico and Canada through loan deals with the two countries, an administration official told Reuters today.
  5. Apparently the US is looking for some kind of "swap," though I don't know what that means. Vaccines for maple syrup?
  6. Big, if true: Biden administration is considering sending some AstraZeneca vaccine doses to Canada and Mexico WWW.CNN.COM The Biden administration is considering sending some AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine doses stockpiled and waiting for official usage approval in the US over the border to Mexico and Canada, according to a senior administration official. US is sitting on over 30 million doses, with another 20 million expected by the end of April.
  7. But that's a good thing, because in this case if there had been a brave enough person around, they could have run to the local gun store, bought a handgun immediately, and then rushed back to shoot the murderer. The protections are built in!
  8. Biden re-integrates dangerous criminal into White House! Biden's dog will return to the White House after biting incident WWW.CTVNEWS.CA U.S. President Joe Biden's dog, Major, will be allowed to return to the White House after biting incident.
  9. My mom got her first AstraZeneca shot yesterday (I think I mentioned), along with my FIL the day before, and neither have had any reaction or even sore arm. I've been keeping them up to date on the health region's tweets and they've been telling all their friends to go as the age eligibility has expanded. Now the city has opened it up to anyone from 60-64 to drive to the site. I think the wait times right now are around 5 hours. That's good that people really want the shot, though! When my FIL told a friend of his that he'd had his first shot (he is bragging to everyone that he got it), his friend said that he was a sheep and that COVID-19 wasn't real, and that the government is just trying to control everyone. Jesus Christ. Fortunately I think vaccine intention is at 80%+ in Canada still, so hopefully most everyone will get it.
  10. There's a near-100% chance this guy was racist in addition to whatever other issues he had. Doesn't mean it was motivated by racism, only that it could have made it easier to kill non-white people.
  11. Yeah I did try that on my first playthrough (lets you have two companions at once, and they are more powerful). It was fun since I was a sniper build...but even though stealth sniper is always easiest in these games, I always get bored. Have to force myself to get up close! lol
  12. I mean, they aren't being extremely cautious, they are giving the proper advice that everyone should follow to eliminate this virus. It's true that Americans (and other people) aren't willing to actually put in the effort, but the advice itself is sound, and not overly cautious.
  13. Let's bet on who will be the last user to get their first shot. I am thinking someone in Ontario. But I will probably be not too far in front (I am guessing early June, for myself).
  14. Because the Catholic Church is a front for money laundering and child-fucking. Their moral front, while believed in by many of their followers, is a total sham for the management.
  15. Meanwhile, not being dummies, Canada expands the use of AstraZeneca to all people (including 65+), citing real-world proof that it is safe for all ages: NACI says AstraZeneca vaccine now recommended for use on seniors WWW.CJME.COM OTTAWA — The National Advisory Committee on Immunization says there is now enough "real-world evidence" to show the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine is both safe and effective for seniors. The decision reverses a recommendation made by the body on M... Also, this interest tidbit from Canadian government analysis of real-world data:
  16. I guess my city is overrun with the B117 variant, the assumption is that over 90% of cases are suspected. The rest of my province has seen a big drop over the last month, but my city has remained high (50-60 cases per day, pop 280,000). Lots of cases in schools, too, though the districts are insisting there is no spread inside the classroom. Of course. However, that is why my city got 100% of the surprise AstraZeneca shipment, so at least the province is dealing with it (though they also lifted some restrictions last week...)
  17. I think the field agents/low level people do their jobs, but then politics happens. Every time there is a big event we always find out later that the CIA or FBI knew about it but it never got passed up to the top.
  18. Yeah this pause for the AZ vaccine is already doing massive harm to confidence in it, for absolutely no reason.
