    FWIW Miyazaki mentioned in the New Yorker article that he specifically designs to generate community engagement; he actively wants people to reference Wikis, pass along tips on social media, etc. because that’s the type of experience he wants to cultivate.

    I think bleed actually procs to damage done, so if you go 2H or use grease, it’s even more impactful (could be wrong about that though).

    An old coworker’s dad was in the 101st during WWII (in Band of Brothers he was one of the soldiers that traded the apple for the gun; he also snuck a camera overseas and is responsible for a sizable portion of photos of the 101st during the war). When they raided the Eagle’s Nest he came back with all sorts of looted Nazi stuff, including bedsheets, serving dishes, and a music box owned by Hitler.

    Had a good night tonight: - Went and fought Darriwil for that sword. I completely sucked the entire fight; straight up could not figure out the dodge timing. But, I had an advantage in damage differential so I was able to power through. - Listened to that guy in the Hold, took the teleporter to the northeast corner of the map, gave the guy his deathroot. No idea what any of it means, I don’t even remember who dropped the deathroot. - Tried to farm smithing stones; didn’t go so well. Feels like I haven’t been stumbling upon many. - Beat Godric thanks to my fancy new sword and jellyfish pal.

    I do not see how the current Kremlin leadership remains intact when the average Russian has to deal with this kind of bullshit. I know Putin has consolidated a lot of power, but there have to be enough opportunists willing to capitalize that it becomes a matter of when, not if.

    There is no end goal at this point, because he wanted a specific outcome that was immediately thwarted. All of the planning was predicated on that outcome.
