Trump needs about 60% of those votes to make up the difference; 350k of those ballots are in the two Democratic strongholds (Tucson and Phoenix); of the counties mentioned with >10k ballots left outstanding, only one (Yavapai) is at or exceeding the type of margin Trump needs. So at this point it is much to do about nothing.

Most of the votes left outstanding are in Reno and Las Vegas, and the bulk of them are mail in. Should be fine.

I reviewed the county and state data and can confirm that is indeed the case.

Biden picking up AZ and one of the NE/ME district votes means he needs to get two out of WI, MI, and PA (to say nothing of the fact GA is apparently still in play). I just do not see Trump getting that lucky this time around.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I don’t think the next few months are going to be good! I just don’t think we are facing down the ‘end of democracy’, or otherwise share the fear that Trump will make a serious, sustained play to retain power. He’s far too lazy to go through the trouble.

I’m honestly not that nervous. I think Biden is going to blow him out of the fucking water, and that no matter how much Trump bitches and moans about it being rigged, the results will be too significant for anyone to give a shit about what he says. The period after? Again, not that nervous. I’m not convinced Trump actually cares to be President for another four years- the past four (especially this latest one) have shown him how much it sucks. He’ll never shut up about it being rigged, but I’m sure he’d much rather parlay that into the Trump News Network than another four years of real responsibility. From now until Inauguration Day, you are all free to quote this endlessly if I have to eat shit, but I just don’t see it happening. When I look at Trump I don’t see someone who really cares to rule, just a vain little asshole.
