I get into this discussion with my dad all the time. You can be the greatest tipper of all time, you could tip 100%. It doesn’t matter because you are one person and the policy exists because so many people don’t tip even 15%. Your one good tip doesn’t negate the bad tippers, not even close.

I went with my family to Fogo De Chao last week and it was surprisingly excellent. Unlimited pao de quiejo, fried polenta sticks (gluten free), and mashed potatoes which the rodizio. The meat quality was surprisingly excellent. They also served us grilled cheese on one of the rodizio spits and then drizzled honey all over it. That was mind blowingly good.

Yeah I’ve always like SoberChef even if I very much disagree with some things he says.

In Portugal, they put delicious fresh cheese on the table and you have to tell them to take it or they charge you lol.

@CitizenVectron Reading that article about SAE and other sources, it seems like once NACS is standardized by SAE it will no longer be proprietary.

They do own it I believe, but no one has to pay them to use it.
