Recommended Posts

My PC I would like to upgrade if I can to play some of my backlog games and play WoW. I need to take it in for repairs because the CPU heatsink died.

What are you thinking of spending?

Possibly $800 depending on if work ever pays me the 40+ hours they still owe me. It has been almost 3 months of excuses and they asked for my pay stubs a month ago but didn't get those back yet.

That thing is a dinosaur lol.

Yeah I think at least 10-12 years ago except the graphics card which is a few years newer which replaced my geforce 6600 after it died.

I don’t know anything about thermal glue. I always use paste. Just find something popular that has a lot of positive reviews.

I'll get the paste like this? Looks like it would be easier to use.

That looks fine. I use this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608008 I like it because it's easy to spread and tends to do well enough in third party testing.
