The renewal announcement from Netflix coincided with the news that The Witcher's fourth (and now penultimate) season has entered production in the UK. Images from a recent table read offer fans a sneak peek at new and returning cast members, including Liam Hemsworth, who is taking over the role of Geralt of Rivia. One of the images shows Laurence Fishburne, another newcomer for Season 4, reading lines for the fan-favorite character of Regis, officially Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy, a medical practitioner and refined gentleman who becomes fast friends with the Witcher after their initial meeting, but also hides a dark secret. Greatoneshere Posted April 18 Share Posted April 18 If they stick to eight episodes per season like they have with the first three seasons so far, I'm not sure how exactly they are going to adapt three books in just two seasons when it took them three seasons just to adapt four books when two of those books were just a bunch of short stories (and they skipped four short stories from those two books).
