Premise is simple, while saving Earth from a cosmic threat, Superman is transported Light years away from Earth and can't find his way home. The story is told in two time periods, what happens when a clearly traumatized Superman makes it back to Earth after spending years away and what happened to him while he was gone. Only four issues in but this is so well written and the art is daamn good too. @Kal-El814 I know you're a Superman fan, you should check this out. The JL are fighting The Toy Master and Superman gets hit by a beam and disappears. The world thinks he’s dead and the world mourns him. Turns out he’s lost in the future, earth has frozen oven, all life seems to be dead, Superman grows a beard and his only companion/friend is Vandal Savage. Who eventually helps him find his way back to his timeline but tells him that he regrets his past goals against JL and human race itself. I've fallen so hard off American comics outside of trades and bundles over the last ten years that I barely know what's going on anymore.
