It's the first in nearly seven years WWW.CNBC.COM A new nuclear reactor at the Vogtle plant in Georgia started splitting atoms. Full operation will begin in May or June, Georgia Power says. I follow this plant specifically because it basically led to the bankruptcy of the company I used to work for.
