Unless they’re talking about expanding the court the only difference this would have made at this point or going forward or even in some mystical past where roe is codified into law is the plaintiff would be different. It would be Dobbs v garland instead of dobbs v whole womens health. There is One branch of government and the others are playing around the edges. The judicial branch holds all the power unless you can check it’s institutional power and the only way that can happen with a mere *majority* vote in congress is by expanding the size of the court. No law can otherwise fix this dynamic

How would a democratic congress protect roe? The only answer is to pack the court and there isn’t enough of an appetite for that and still 51+ senators who don’t want to.

This affects every woman who can bear a child, including those far too young and those far too old.
