Whole lotta uninteresting looking shit mixed in with the good end of 2021 stuff

There never have been in Cruis'n games. They're basically bumper cars. Though it does look like you can crash other cars.
Yes I know it’s never been in Cruisin games before. They just flip around and land. But that doesn’t mean there was t a chance they could change the series -
I love arcade racers and I miss San Francisco Rush so so much. But Cruisin games usually control like hot garbage so I’ll wait for some impressions.
also bummed there’s no collision physics or crashes it seems.

The first half of this season was definitely hit or miss. I wouldn't say it was bad, just kind of meandering along, but it's definitely picked up after the Christmas episode.
I read somewhere that the writers planed for another 10 episode season, but Apple increased it to 12 so they had to fit in 2 filler episodes. Clearly the Christmas episode was one of those (and a welcomed one).
And this weeks must have been the other one haha.
I wasn’t sure how I was feeling during most of the episode but by the end I really loved it.

Besides small stuff pretty much all military ship builders in the US are at capacity.
Which is why I was curious. I live close to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and Bath Ironworks and everyone I know that works there says they’re crazy busy. So I was curious where they were gonna be built. -
So we’re building them and they’re buying? Or we’re helping to teach them how so they can make their own? Or both?

I would like to chime in that I love they’re finishing up the story in 2 games. Trilogy’s are vastly overrated. Most game series I’m good after the sequel. By the third game I’m ready for a new story with a larger overhaul to the mechanics than a normal sequel dev cycle would allow. Give me two games, finish up the story you wanna tell. Then shelve the series for a bit so you can come with a way to freshen it up.

Resulting in Microsoft releasing a timed exclusive on Playstation.
Which IMHO, given how those to companies interact, is hilarious to me.
Sony released one of its biggest exclusives on Xbox in the spring 🤷🏻♂️ -
I’ve been watching and it’s very good. Nothing earth shattering but it’s gotten me to literally LOL a few times.

Doesn’t Hugo have a kid that acts? Plug them into the role. That would be more fun.
-
Watched it. It’s fantastic!
-
That might be my favorite episode of the whole show.
-
I literally can’t wait for the documentary
-
I think it has a chance of being good. I’m concerned with how rushed it’ll feel, that story arc is pretty long.

I guess, I just...like, I found the og Sasuke kind of compelling and would watch whole competitions. Maybe I found it more interesting because it was a single event? But like, the current one? It just feels way more...game-showy, I guess? Like, if I had a whole season of new Ninja Warrior to watch I feel like I would just load up the last episode to see who/if anyone wins and that'd be it.
Same. I was really into the original version. I think the mystique that so few people had completed the whole thing added to it? The American version I like as background noise but I don’t care about it at all.
kinda the same thing with Iron Chef. I was WAY into the OG version. The American version just seemed lame. The chefs just seemed so meh. Honestly I think part of the problem is when they do American versions of foreign shows they over produce the shit outta them. Any charm the originals had is blasted to pieces.

If this is true, this is complete bullshit. For multiple reasons.
- Obviously The Matrix Online wasn't some massive success, and few people even know what happened in the game. Hell I didn't even know until today with videos and articles like this talking about it. The movie would have to explain this through exposition, which would be a shitty way of ending his character from the perspective of those that didn't play the game. Hell, looking at the video, it was a shitty way of ending the character even if you DID play the game.
- Yeah, um... Neo and Trinity died too. So if the reason Morpheus can't be in it is because he was killed in a videogame, so the fuck what?
- He is a central character to this franchise, second only to Neo. For many, he is a favorite. I think he might be mine as well. Seeing the growth of his character from fearing the agents, sacrificing himself and almost being killed by one, to later kicking their (upgraded) asses in Reloaded, was such a pleasure. And Fishburne COMMANDS the screen when he's on it. His presence is just...amazing. The Matrix really isn't The Matrix without him, and it's dissatisfying to fans to exclude him.
The more I think about it, the more this actually pisses me off.
How bout maybe we wait to see the film and how they handle it before we go into nuclear nerd rage mode- 1

Yeah, it's an odd choice for a show like this. These obstacle/athletic game shows do well (Ninja Warrior, Wipeout, etc.), but they aren't really they kind of show you sit down and on-demand. They're either on and catch your attention or not. They aren't appointment or binge television. Then again, Netflix is returning Floor is Lava for a second season so it's possible we're just out of touch.
Family’s and people with kids 100% binge the shit out of these shows -
That’s pretty awesome
-
Wipe Out with a Frogger Skin? I’m 100% watching this 😂
-
I’m down. The Wachowskis are some of the few directors I will blindly support no matter what. Not many others making such insanely bat shit crazy/creative/taking risks stuff.
They’re like the Remedy of the movie world

"These games are all definitely $70!
Please ignore all the PC versions that you can get for sub-$45 to $50 on pre-launch sales that run and look better! Trust us, paying $10 to upgrade a game that you already paid for from one of our systems that you paid for to another of our systems that you paid for, on the same account, is definitely a sensible thing to do and doesn't at all sound like lunacy!Maybe next time think twice before buying two of our consoles, dipshit."
The PC argument is tired considering you pay 3-4 times as much for the hardware. Also please link me to the God of War PC version that shows up on steam for $45 at launch.
But I don’t have an issue with games jumping $10 in base price after more than a decade at the same price. Covid and chip shortages make this a unique situation. These games are $70. They’re making them available to previous gen(when they wouldn’t have by now in a normal gen transition) for the previous gens normal price. It makes sense to charge the extra $10 to upgrade.
-
This is only an issue because covid is causing the transition to a new generation to drag out forever. The games are $70. It makes sense if you buy the PS4 version that the upgrade cost $10. The other choice is that PS4 games now all cost $70 or they simply don’t release all these games on PS4 at all.
