I didn’t say exclusively. At least be decent enough to address what I actually wrote.

It is incredibly telling that you can’t name a meaningful comedic arc of the season. Because there isn’t one as it fully embraced being a drama.

And it’s also telling you didn’t bother to read fully through mine. I said the show uses arcs that’s are simultaneously built for both comedy and drama. There are also scenes that are built exclusively for humor. There’s no arcing story to them but they exist as standalone scenes. But you seem to think a show needs arcs built only for comedy to define it as a comedy. So next season there should be a running gag about Ted shitting his pants to requalify as comedy?

What genre do you put Schitts Creek in?

So you can’t answer a basic question about what plot lines a supposed comedy have that are based around comedy?

Lol no because that’s an asinine way to judge a comedy. So in order for something to be a comedy it must have full arcs that are based exclusively on the premise of only being funny? Any show that manages to do both simultaneously is now a drama?  Lol if you say so.

If the show cared about the sport they’d have bothered to show literally any of it, and they’d bothered to have them being promoted make sense or adhere to the IRL rules for promotion. :p But hey, Ted and the producers not bothering to learn the sport at least keeps the brand consistent!

you know what genre makes sense to not really have to adhere to super serious rules or realistic portrayal of the sport? Comedy.

  4. Also just tossing it in but they made a point of showing the picture Nate gave Ted is hanging in Ted’s apartment

I really hope they don’t with some shitty League of their Own ending where somehow Ted let’s Nate’s team win the championship. Richmond needs to win.

  5. After reading that post I assumed I’d be so bored by the latest episode. But I found the flashback stuff to be really interesting. Yeah we knew that stuff happened but it was still fascinating to actually see it. This show is building such an immersive and interesting world that I was 100% with getting to spend some time with a new part of that world to get a better understanding of how it works.

The stuff with the ship and mathing the hell out of her situation was pretty awesome. The stuff at the Foundation went back to being kinda meh. Hell of a cliff hanger though.

I dunno, I’m interested in seeing the movie but that trailer is just a mess.  I haven’t the slightest clue what this movie is about outside of the broadest possible strokes, and I’m sorry but that perfect question mark in the latte foam is the corniest shit since the Batman credit card.

Was I the only one who had to turn on subtitle to figure out what he said when he punched the glass?

    yes you were

Yeah weird they are giving him, a villain, his own movie instead of having him be the antagonist for Shazam 2.

It’s because he isn’t just a villain. In recent years they’ve given him more of a antihero personality and arc. His story and overall power are def interesting enough to have his own movie.

Looks pretty solid. I'm just a little worried about Robert Pattinson performance. He will always be Edward Cullen in my eyes lol.

    That's not a good thing.

At this point this is literally on par with “Eh I’m not interested in seeing the new Tarantino movie with DiCaprio because he’ll always be Jack from Titanic in my eyes”

  9. Your opinions on all of those match mine pretty much exactly.

    1 is GOAT level

2 is a fun follow up

    3 is underrated fantastic

4/5 aren’t great but they’re solid and fun

    6 is embarrassing and confusing

    H20 is really very good

Resurrection sucks but i also sorta love it

Remake 1 is watchable but not good

    Remake 2 is aggressively awful

Halloween Modern is actually a really good tribute to the original with a fun twist that gives it its own identity.

And Bev is definitely such a dislikable character. She actually really reminds me of a character that Stephen King would write.

Agreed, I thought the whole show gave off a very Stephen King short story vibe
