So I haven’t seen Hereditary, the girl freaked me out. But after the discussion here I was curious so I read the plot on Wikipedia. The whole thing read like

lol what?? The acting and atmosphere must be through the roof for it to have gotten the praise it got because the story itself sounds stupid as hell

From a moral standpoint, I wouldn't buy it. Melee is broken, horrible battlepass xp, horrible customization, theater is an absolute mess, low playlists, low game modes, low amount of maps, missing forge. We waited 6 years for an early access game from a AAA studio. Fuck that. Seasons never go away you can buy it later and still get the same items.

 

On the other do whatever makes you happy. If you want some of the colors and skins go for it.

Nolan has def been consistently good but I still think Scott’s peaks are much higher.

Rocket League manages to stick to the Blue/Red thing while still being drenched in awesome cosmetics. Halo could have done it if they wanted to be creative with it. 

To be fair the rewards aren’t really great either. So it takes a long time to unlock a pile of meh at the moment haha

I watched episode 4 again. As far as an explanation for fearing a female dragon. They seem to have separated the prophecy of the Dragon potentially saving or breaking the world and men’s struggles with the one power. They don’t mention them together. It’s simply “The prophecy says the Dragon Reborn could rebreak the world” so I think that’s where the fear of a female dragon comes from. 
 

Yeah I’m like 5 minutes in and the animation is utterly spectacular 

Oh wow those are really good

I think if they slowed the game way down while picking abilities like FF Remake it would have gone a long way to making it better

Yeah the fact that linear gets tossed around as a negative is so ass backwards. Give me a straight up linear game with good gameplay and sweet scripted story/experience over an UBI bloated boring open world 10/10 times. In fact…fuck open worlds and everyone responsible for their rise to prominence.

So I take it either Logain is seeing ny eave as a taveren or male channelers can see female weaves, but not vice versa as moiraine stated she couldn't see logains weaves

Good point. I’m gonna guess it’s Taveren. I don’t think he could see the other sisters channeling. And yeah that guy was fantastic. 

Whelp, the book die hards are going to have a lot to sag about that episode 😂

I dug it. I think it’s become pretty clear that if you love these books you’re gonna have to appreciate that the soul of them is in this show but you’re not getting the straight page for page adaption you might have been hoping for. This reminds me of His Dark Materials. Clearly significant changes but all of them make sense for the story in the visual medium. Especially since they’re trying to actually keep it a secret who they real Dragon Reborn is. 
 

So far my only gripe is a feel Mat and Rand aren’t getting quite enough time, it feels like their story is rushing just a bit. Egweyne and Perins has been straight up perfect so far imo. And Moraine, Lan and Nynyeve has been mostly really good but that’s where the biggest changes are so as a book reader I’ve got to get over my initial “wtf” feelings anytime something is different haha.

I dunno, I mean there was that scene where Teela and her friend were having really aggressive lesbian sex on top of He Mans corpse all while pointing and laughing at some fat balding guy with glasses small dick. Seems about in line with people’s totally rational fears to me.

I have them and love them. But I’m also not an audiophile with huge ears so who knows if they’re actually any good or not haha

I heard it’s fantastic. I’m assuming you don’t need to know anything about the game to enjoy the show?
