  1. You libcucks are all verklempt over this hearing. I myself saw the hearing as a good thing overall for the Democrats, and a bad thing for Trump. Does it move the needle? I think so, but not to the point where we'll see impeachment proceedings in the near future. At the very least, this hearing will create great soundbites the general election against Trump.
  2. I would post the tweets from this morning from Cheeto Mussolini, but I'm afraid the sheer number of them might break D1P. I will say this though: This is how an innocent man speaks!
  3. Is Williamson the Russian plant in 2020 like Jill Stein was a plant in 2016?
  4. $5 generic prescriptions from your local Super Walmart. Free hot dogs and popcorn at the mattress store that just opened down the road. Stuff like that.
  5. The GND is so nebulous that it would likely lose a majority of it's support if it was actually brought forward as actual legislation and not just a proclamation.
  6. That's true, but usually only for larger white collar companies, no? I doubt McDonalds HR employs the same sort of strategy as Microsoft when it comes to terminating employees.
  7. At will is good in some respects. Yes, you can get fired for almost any reason at any time, but on the flip side, you can quit at any time, for any reason. A two week notice is just customary.
  8. Unions would be more powerful in America if there weren't so many ingrained labor laws and regulations at the state and federal level. Why join a union if most of the basic worker rights are already being protected by the government?
  9. People can't have roommates? People can't move to a lower cost of living area?
  10. Meanwhile: This is exactly the slippery slope that those opposed to the $15/hr minimum wage were arguing would occur. Here we are. Flipping burgers is not worth $20 an hour.
  11. Stop bitching about the electoral college and support the method that will make it more fair: Expand the House of Representatives. It's one of the few things that would work that doesn't require an amendment to the Constitution. A simple bill that strikes the apportionment act from law would result in hundreds of new representatives and smaller legislative districts. In turn, it would also result in more electoral votes for each state.
  12. CNN did their ridiculous draw for the debates. I suppose it's a fair way of doing it, but it was still cringe-y. First night: 10 white people Second night: 5 on 5 basketbrawl
