  1. Google Fi is pretty good. It auto switches between Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular towers depending on which one has the best signal.
  2. Right. I know that they could still go after him after he leaves office. But what Trump's lawyers will argue is this: If the evidence wasn't even strong enough to warrant an impeachment conviction (which doesn't meet the same standard as criminal trials), then how on Earth could you (the jury) convict Trump on criminal charges?
  3. An interesting question was brought up on NPR on my way home today: If the Democrats go through with an impeachment investigation and vote, and the impeachment trial fails in the Senate, would that make it more difficult to prosecute Trump after he leaves office?
  4. The conspiracy theorist in me wants to think it was a failed hit job (or warning). The realist in me thinks this was a suicide attempt because he knows he is fucked.
  5. You libcucks are all verklempt over this hearing. I myself saw the hearing as a good thing overall for the Democrats, and a bad thing for Trump. Does it move the needle? I think so, but not to the point where we'll see impeachment proceedings in the near future. At the very least, this hearing will create great soundbites the general election against Trump.
  6. I would post the tweets from this morning from Cheeto Mussolini, but I'm afraid the sheer number of them might break D1P. I will say this though: This is how an innocent man speaks!
  7. Is Williamson the Russian plant in 2020 like Jill Stein was a plant in 2016?
  8. $5 generic prescriptions from your local Super Walmart. Free hot dogs and popcorn at the mattress store that just opened down the road. Stuff like that.
  9. The GND is so nebulous that it would likely lose a majority of it's support if it was actually brought forward as actual legislation and not just a proclamation.
  10. That's true, but usually only for larger white collar companies, no? I doubt McDonalds HR employs the same sort of strategy as Microsoft when it comes to terminating employees.
  11. At will is good in some respects. Yes, you can get fired for almost any reason at any time, but on the flip side, you can quit at any time, for any reason. A two week notice is just customary.
  12. Unions would be more powerful in America if there weren't so many ingrained labor laws and regulations at the state and federal level. Why join a union if most of the basic worker rights are already being protected by the government?
