  1. I was on for quite awhile tonight in my own World this time. Time flies playing this. Just get to start building my massive Fort, and hours flew by. It's actually far deeper than I first thought playing with friends, as I wasn't paying much attention. The different weapons you can craft with different perks, like poison or stun. All the Armors having different perks as well for different kinds of tasks. They have a nice little game here for sure, and if they stick with it and just add more Bug/Enemy Variety, iron out the "bugs", and add to the story, I can see myself putting quite sometime into this. I witnessed a war between the Ants and a Lady Bug. It was a nice back and forth and I thought the Lady Bug might come out on top, but the Ants managed to win it. I got lots of materials from all those that perished though!
  2. Just put in a good amount of time. Really enjoyed it. A lot of these style of games don't have stories, so the fact this has some minor story stuff is cool, but it is really really brief. It's a great foundation for the game, and they could really do a lot with it if they put the resources into it.
  3. There are a few challenges I need to do to get Platinum, I got all collectibles. I'll throw it on Lethal to try it out. It sounds like if enemies die quicker, it won't up difficulty too much, unless the parrying and blocking window is really really shortened.
  4. Well the service is said to be up to 12-15 million subs now, and I expect that to just continue to grow later this year with Halo. It should start to create a snowball effect, where the larger sub pool creates more success stories, and more developers wanting to get their games onto Game Pass. Thus adding more content into Game Pass, driving to more subs, and more investment into content by Microsoft. PS Now on it's own isn't a bad service at all, but for whatever reason, Sony seems okay with just giving this model away to Microosoft for now.
  5. I can't wait to play this again, I really enjoyed the beta, but it was just 30 minutes. I know it's Early Access so hopefully its still relatively deep. I see lots of potential in this. The world is really fun to explore.
  6. Just put more time into it. I assumed it'd be broken down into different stages with Bosses to finish each area, but I was going on for awhile without it ever having a break point. I think I just got to Pandora's Temple, after saving the Oracle. It's decent fun. Knowing it is a PS2 game, I can definitely enjoy what it's doing. I guess the PS Now version is the HD version from a PS3 remake, so that was why I was confused on the visuals. The cutscenes I don't believe were redone, so they look downright terrible compared to the gameplay. PS Now has held up really well today, very little lag or any other issue.
  7. People can make fun of the damn Brute all you want, but Halo Music is still some of the best in video games, and so far they don't seem to be letting that slip.
  8. By far and away the most memorable thing about this game was the beauty of the world. Combat was good, story was good, but the most distinctive part that continually impressed me was how beautiful the surroundings were through most of it.
  9. Yeah this is my first time playing any God of War. I got through the 1st area of the game. I will admit, after playing TLoU2 and then Ghost, it's going to be tough to go this far back in time to play a PS2 game. I played through the 1st Uncharted not too long ago, but that as part of the Nathan Drake Collection, so it was remastered, and still looked pretty good. The camera in this game is going to be tough to deal with. The audio was also crazy loud and obnoxious as well. This is also my first time using PS Now. I did have some lag spikes happen during gameplay, while having the PS4 hardwired, but the responsiveness of the controls was extremely good. I couldn't tell I was playing a Streamed title other than when the quality of the image or it lagged a bit. Also, the sheer amount of titles in the catalog is extremely impressive. I counted 41 PS2 games, and like 440 PS3 games, and something like 360 PS4 games. While Game Streaming isn't a perfect solution, and of the 3 I've used, Stadia/xCloud/PS Now, PS Now probably had the lowest quality of service, I can't discount the value of $40 for the year I paid for PS Now and the amount of content they have available. I do hope the game isn't too long as I'd like to run through them fairly quick. The boss fight last night lasted way too long for not being challenging at all, just a time sink. So hopefully those get a bit more fun and interesting as the game goes on.
  10. So after finishing Ghost of Tsushima, I decided to embark on my journey through the God of War series on PS Now.
  11. Just finished it. Really enjoyed it. Not really too much too dislike or complain about. My biggest gripe would probably be it was too easy overall. It was challenging early on, but they give you way too much Resolve that makes you basically invulnerable. Pretty minor gripe though. The side missions did get a little repetitive, but compared to other open world type games, it didn't feel nearly that bad. The main story beats were all very well done and had a nice epic feel to them. World was stunning. I think I'd give it a solid 8.5/10
  12. I just about maxed all equipment and skill trees as well going into Chapter 3. I've basically 100% the first 2 areas as I went. Just about 100% all the side stuff in Chapter 3. Hoping to wrap it up tonight.
  13. Finished Chapter 2 last night. The main story missions are still fantastic and fun. Story is still well done as well. The side mission stuff for me has become pretty mundane and boring. The "Character" Side missions are more interesting than the others, but overall it's all gotten very repetitive for me. World is still gorgeous to explore though, I really enjoyed exploring the entire area. Difficulty spiked up to start the chapter, but now it's basically braindead easy. Even without using any of the Ghost weapons or anything, using only Traveling Attire, the ability to heal so easily and rejuvenating Resolve makes the game a cakewalk where it feels impossible to die. Hoping to wrap it up this weekend.
  14. The little * on the Outer Worlds DLC stated Game Pass, not Game Pass Ultimate, maybe there is a distinction there. I also assumed DLC might be for the 1st Party made stuff, and since this is published by someone else, they don't dictate that.
  15. One small tidbit I noticed, is the Outer Worlds DLC is not included in Game Pass, it must be purchased separately. It's not published by Microsoft though as that game was already in the works before MS bought Obsidian, so I'm guessing that is the reason.
  16. I'm all for the ever evolving title. I just am not sure what this games format is. Is it an RPG lite, where you have some skills or items to collect and upgrade. Is there any inventory system. Exploring a huge open world is fun, when there are rewards for that exploration. Upgrade shields, health, mobility, guns, and other things. BoTW kept it fairly simple, you could find the Temples to get more Health or Stamina? Then had the seeds to upgrade inventory space. All were worthwhile to keep exploring. I hope they have something similar here. I can't imagine an open world game without the ability to upgrade abilities and have some form of progression system. The demo didn't really show anything of that sort though.
  17. They've been yearly releases all the time I think, at least since the first Forza Horizon first launched. They always were shown either E3 or shortly before E3, then launch a few months later that fall/Holiday. It's why I and many probably assumed there would be a Forza 8 for launch or shortly after. I know I'm most likely wrong, just trying to think of what games they could potentially have for release next year that maybe Cross Gen.
