  1. Andrew Yang Becomes 9th Candidate Qualify For The September Democratic Primary Debate Qualified: Joe Biden Cory Booker Pete Buttigieg Kamala Harris Amy Klobuchar Beto O'Rourke Bernie Sanders Elizabeth Warren Andrew Yang Donor Requirements Met: Julián Castro Tulsi Gabbard
  2. That's because if Chewbacca lived on Endor, you have to acquit.
  3. Exactly. Look at the first Home Alone. In order for there to be conflict, they needed the scary neighbor to scare Kevin into not answering the door when the cop came to check on him, they needed everyone on the street to be on vacation so nobody could be reached by Kevin's parents or family to go to the house and check on him, the power had to go out so the family was rushing and forgot Kevin, Kevin had to mess up and be sent to sleep on the third floor to make that happen, Kevin had to do that "Michael Jordan on a train" thing for hours to make sure he could trick the burglars into thinking the family was back from vacation... If they want to make the plot work, they'll make it work. There will be reasons why he can't be reached and is left home alone. The first was and is a fun movie despite all that was needed to make it work.
  4. I mean, that's all they need, though. Every movie has contrivances to make a plot happen. If they don't give a 5-year-old a phone and the satellite's down, and they don't have landlines because they're on their way out for many homes anyway, it's a plausible scenario.
  5. Shit, God of War is wide linear, not open world, and it's an amazing experience. Might not be a bad idea to tackle something like that or Resident Evil 7 or 2 Remake.
  6. I'm trying to stifle a big laugh at work because I immediately thought of the Home alone robbers manning this for an EMP blast:
  7. Everyone knows they had a landline. I'm responding to the "Story crumbles because of cell phones in this reboot" idea.
  8. Barring paying for Caribbean WiFi to get good internet (let's assume that it's down for the purposes of the movie), what if when he said he was doing serious shopping, he was simply frowning at the lack of internet?
  9. Since you're on vacation, maybe try just lounging on the beach? I know you said you're not a beach person, but sometimes it's great to just lay around, enjoy the sounds of the waves and realize you don't have to worry about shit.
  10. He ain't getting more than 2G with his phone in the Caribbean. Maybe 3G in Cozumel.
  11. I had no idea she served as his adviser on the show...

  13. More areas that are establishing more liberal laws and giving us more Democratic Congresspeople to keep the House out of Republican hands both matter.
  14. It's a very fun game with a great soundtrack. The new music is on the same level as the old music. Plus, the Moon Theme. I never played the original so I'm the perfect guy to ask.
  15. Sometimes you need a few smaller games in between the big ones for maximum enjoyment, and vice versa. I played Dead Cells earlier this year and absolutely loved it. Lots of content, too, but it's not overwhelming.
  16. I had read that Hispanic turnout is always harder to get out and that the Republicans who are retiring are doing so in Texas suburbs, and also that Texas Hispanics are slightly more Republican in comparison to the nation (they still vote majority Democratic). BUT, that might not be the whole story. I could totally only have half the facts on this.
  17. A lot of the diversity was there in the 2000s; they lost their strength with many of them. Diversity in and of itself doesn't guarantee Democratic votes or else Florida would have been blue-leaning for a long time. The midwestern influx in Orange County, for example, should theoretically be helpful to Republicans as it's been helpful to them in Southwest Florida. Even in 2012, it was 9 points Republican despite Obama's easy win.
  18. They used to be stronger with Hispanics and Vietnamese. Also, Texas has gotten bluer partly due to suburban white folk, not some Hispanic surge.
