Far as I'm concerned, reading a book or playing a video game are two things you can do as hobbies and neither is classier; video games simply give you agency to story-based games. I say that as someone who'll spend hours at a coffee shop reading. The 30 pounds shit, though, you can fix without giving up your hobby!

God, BC with all PS systems would be unbelievable. I still have PS1/PS2 games. It's my hope that they come around to that because they have one of the deepest libraries for it besides Nintendo but benefit from starting with CDs in the video game business (Nintendo would be hard-pressed to make a system that played all cartridges though the FC Twin stuff third parties make are a nice workaround).

Well, I usually don't spend a ton of time, but either the way photo mode was set up or the material in the game caused me to spend way more time on this one.

Remember that the game is really a photography game that happens to have an epic samurai movie as a mini-game. The photo mode is really fucking good is what I'm saying.

Out of curiosity, when he says that 99% of games will be BC out of the thousands they tested, what do you think he could mean other than nearly every game is playable on the PS5? You think it's possible that you won't be able to download games even after their PS Plus Collection allows you to d/l games and start playing them immediately?

I have a big Genesis case for SoR4 that I got from Limited Run, but right now, I'm thinking with the PS Move controllers I just got, Blood & Truth will follow Persona 5 Royal. And if I really dig that, then I'll likely buy the recently released Iron Man VR. Shiiiiiiiiiit.

Video games have been one of the few bright spots. The sheer level of quality this year has been overwhelming. I thought about that a lot when I went from playing RE3 (not spectacular, but a fun game), and then went into FFVII Remake and thought, "This may be the best soundtrack I've heard all gen." And then I started Persona 5 Royal and thought, "Wow, a lot more is in this game. Can't wait to see how this plays out." Then I paused my playtime for The Last of Us Part II and thought, "Wow, this may be one of the best stories I've ever played in a video game," and loved reading people who write for shows/movies praise the writing on Twitter. Then I went back to Persona 5 Royal and thought, "This was totally worth the money." Then I paused for Ghost of Tsushima and thought, "This game's really about taking pictures, holy shit. And it shows much more maturity in the studio." And now I'm back at the very very end game of Persona 5 Royal around 172 hours later. And then I thought, "If I had a Switch, I think I'd REALLY be digging Animal Crossing right now. Such a sweet and innocent game in such an uncertain time." And then I thought, "Fuck, I still have to play the first Nioh so I can play the second." And now I'm thinking, "Cyberpunk's coming out this year. And fucking A, I'll have Demon's Souls! And a new Spidey! God, I hope Sackboy and Destruction All-Stars are good!" And then my brain exploded for thinking too much and I'm typing this post from Heaven.

I got one from Amazon Denmark. I HAVE heard that sometimes they can be a little dodgy with getting import preorders to you, so I'll still be looking at Best Buy. But I'm happy I was at least able to order something, confirmation email and all.
