  1. Also, two of those "legitimately elected" Senators were appointed, not elected, but he's not that bright.
  2. Some good numbers this morning: For Nevada, though, I always trust Jon Ralston. He's more accurate than the polls because he looks deep into the people who have voted so far and really understands the state. He predicted a blue wave in Nevada, which happened based on the numbers.
  3. Rhetorical question: why wasn't Clarence Thomas wearing a mask during that oath?
  4. Damn huge ratings ‘60 Minutes’ & Trump Walk-Off Soars To 17M Viewers; Most Watched Non-Sports Show On TV Since Oscars – Update DEADLINE.COM Sunday Night Football's Seattle-Arizona Matchup Dominates World Series Game 5
  5. I think the best way for me to put this is I'm not expecting Texas to go Biden, but if these numbers are to be believed, I won't be shocked if it does. We're well past the point that there's no chance of it.
  6. For the undecideds, they disapprove of Trump by a 2:1 margin. Nath Cohn was asked about their polling in 2018 which underestimated Democrats. He says that they definitely were off in Republicans' favor in 2018 because they missed Hispanic turnout, not support, which helped people like now-Senator Sinema in Arizona, along with Beto's race being extremely close against Cruz. And Trump isn't at 50%, so this is a winnable state. Also, DAMN at that gender gap with Hispanic voters:
  7. It's gone up due to a +9, +13, and +14 poll from three other firms. Also, the equivalent 2016 day is 10/31. Clinton was coming down at this point and was sitting at +5.8 the day of the Comey Letter.
  8. Jaime Harrison bets on ‘New South’ coalition in his against-the-odds bid to oust Sen. Lindsey Graham - The Washington Post WWW.WASHINGTONPOST.COM Harrison hopes to capture voters who represent the “New South,” making the state the first in the nation to have two Black senators. We'll see if he can do it. Some parts of the article: I continue to wonder if Harrison's attack on Graham not being a man of his word has resonance to some conservative voters that they're seeing in polling.

  10. I honestly do love reading the comments because 1) if you are still traumatized by 2016's results, you can find comfort in how many people felt as you do, and 2) some people are just inadvertently funny to me (in a good way).
  11. As a comparison, Wasserman is retweeting stuff he posted a week prior to last time to show that they were talking about @Ominous signs for Hillary at the time:
  12. Susan Collins, last vestige of New England GOP representation in Congress, fighting for political life WWW.FOXNEWS.COM Today, Sen. Susan Collins is not only fighting for her political life in one of the most-watched races, but she is also the last vestige of New England GOP representation in Congress from what was a heavily Republican region in a bygone era. With New Hampshire being an elastic state, and Maine not being as liberal as the rest of New England, this isn't the end of Senate Republicans in New England. But I started voting in 2006, and it used to be so much more represented. You has two Republicans in New Hampshire and Maine, and you have Lincoln Chafee in Rhode Island. Lieberman changed to an independent and won his reelection in 2006, Olympia Snowe easily won reelection, but Sheldon Whitehouse beat Chafee. In 2008, Shaheen won the Senate seat in New Hampshire from Senator Sununu, but Susan Collins easily won reelection despite Obama winning overwhelmingly in Maine. In 2010, Kelly Ayotte replaced Republican Senator Judd Gregg in NH and Scott Brown took over Ted Kennedy's seat in a shocking election, but in 2012 Elizabeth Warren beat Scott Brown, and Olympia Snowe retired and Angus King won and caucused with Democrats. The only one left was Susan Collins. And she may vanish soon.
