  1. Now that the weekend's over, we're starting to get the quality polls. Let's see how we're looking post debate over the next few days.
  2. That's around Trump's chance of winning in 2016. I'm not saying expect Biden to win, but after 2018's polls in Texas, don't discount Texas for Biden.
  3. We should never base a decision on what the Republicans might do. They already have shown they'll do anything without being provoked.
  4. Interesting stuff, and to be honest, I don't know how this affects the state this year. I definitely can believe that Cubans born here and much more mixed from my experience with many of them.
  5. 0 issues. I don't normally have problems when a site has a redesign; I usually find the criticisms overblown. *shrugs*
  6. I think it's because of that 2nd district of Nebraska since it's in play. The thing is, Biden is doing REALLY well in that polling. It's usually competitive (went barely for Trump in 2016), but Biden's been polling pretty damn well in that place.
  7. Trump privately tells donors it would be ‘very tough’ for GOP to hold Senate - The Washington Post WWW.WASHINGTONPOST.COM The president offered this pessimistic assessment as he said there were some GOP senators he didn’t want to help in their reelection bids. And Jeff Sessions: lol Still, many of these races are close enough that I wouldn't be shocked to see Republicans keep a lot of them or lose nearly all of them, depending on the mood on Election Night. Ex: if Election Night 2016 were a good night for Dems in the White House, I could see Democrats have taken an extra two seats, at least (Wisconsin/Pennsylvania) and winning the Senate. But it was not to be. So we'll see.
  8. I think the past four years puts some doubt into how tight the race would be. Trump's poll numbers after Floyd's death, for example, tanked for the summer, and Democrats won big year after years starting with the fall of 2017. My assumption is it could have been tighter, but then again, nobody told Trump to handle COVID the way he did. His poll numbers increased a bit after this began -- "rally around the flag" kind of thing -- and he could have just done a better job and took it more seriously as opposed to having surrogates go out and talk about seniors dying for the good of the economy.
  9. Y'all rock and I hope you all got laid by the hottest motherfucker that night. Only doing it because you asked. While I would have still voted Biden to inflate his numbers, that was a well thought out decision so I'm good. :P
  10. I think I may be out of it. I clicked on this, read the tweet, read the responses, went back to the tweet and thought, "Hey, the CEB would be interested in reading this!" and then returned here only to remember that the reason I saw the tweet was because it was already posted here.
  11. Mitch McConnell says he has no health concerns after photos show bruising | US news | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM Questions raised about pictures showing severe bruising on his hands and some around his mouth
  12. I think I added really badly. It was Clinton +3.3 with 45ish percent of the vote and lots of undecided/Johnson voters.
