Look, here is the unfortunate reality: Biden will not likely be able to control the spread in the US. Even in places that have much better leadership (and better initial support from citizens), the virus is rapidly spreading again. But he will be able to at least help out the states who are taking it more seriously, as well as provide a central message.

News story making the big rounds in Canada is that Whole Foods has implemented a country-wide ban on their employees wearing poppies leading up to Remembrance Day. For any Americans not in the know, commonwealth countries have their veteran's groups (in Canada, the Canadian Legion) sell poppies to raise money, and people wear them every year leading up to Nov 11. Parliament just passed a unanimous resolution condemning the move, and politicians have asked them to reconsider, but Whole Foods is doubling down on the ban. EDIT - They have reversed their decision right as I posted this. Whole Foods will let staff wear poppies after firestorm over ‘disgraceful’ ban GLOBALNEWS.CA Ontario Premier Doug Ford is promising legislation to prohibit employers from poppy bans.

There is going to be a Cara Dune spinoff. Regardless of politics, I wasn't planning on watching it since she is...barely good enough of an actor to be in a supporting role, to say the least.
