News story making the big rounds in Canada is that Whole Foods has implemented a country-wide ban on their employees wearing poppies leading up to Remembrance Day. For any Americans not in the know, commonwealth countries have their veteran's groups (in Canada, the Canadian Legion) sell poppies to raise money, and people wear them every year leading up to Nov 11. Parliament just passed a unanimous resolution condemning the move, and politicians have asked them to reconsider, but Whole Foods is doubling down on the ban.
